Midtown Chimney Sweeps of Denver

Garett was very knowledgeable and honest about our old chimney and gave us good guidance on what steps to take to bring it up to code. We’ll be using them when we need our next sweep.

I called midtown to install a new chimney cap and damper on my house, something we’ve put off for two years since we’ve moved in. It’s one of those inspection items that’s just on the list of things to do. Now that I’m finally getting around to it, Midtown sent Josh out to my house for a service call last Friday. After reviewing our options he said he would need to do some research and order a special cap for my chimney and that he would follow up the following week. Well it’s been a week and I’ve called them twice now with no return phone call from Josh. The fact that they charge $ 135 for a service call seemed a little ridiculous to me and now that I’ve paid $ 100 for him to tell me he needs to come back — which he cashed right away — I feel like this is a dishonest business that makes promises they don’t intend to keep. I should have stuck with my original appointment with Chimney Jack, whom my client has used and was extremely satisfied with, but he was booked way out to mid-​November. I will update my review if Josh and Midtown ever make my customer experience right but so far I’m left with a bad taste in my mouth by this business.
