This location has really stepped up its game with delivery lately, and the food has improved significantly. I had reached a point where I didn’t trust Little India to deliver within 2 hrs, and one night they delivered a Korma so spicy I couldn’t eat it. The last few times, however, the food has been exceptional. They’ve seen and responded to my request for more raisins and nuts, the spice level has been perfect, and delivery has been much faster. I’ve seen some customers complain about how they pack their rice, but I disagree. I appreciate that they give me so much rice, and I find it a wonderful puzzle to try to get it out of the box without covering my kitchen in rice.

Love the chicken tikka masala and naan bread. The restaurant has an authentic Indian atmosphere and never disappoints.

We love LI. We order pick up at least twice a month. The food is truly exceptional and worthwhile. It is always delicious and often brilliant. It seems that the delivery reviews show the least satisfaction with the quality of the food. We either dine in or pick up and have never had any issues with the quality of the food whatsoever. News flash– DONOTORDERDELIVERY! PICKITUPYOURSELF! WEHAVENEVERHAD A PROBLEM!

Ordered delivery from here twice and I never received my food, but after reading other Unilocal reviews, perhaps that’s a blessing in disguise. Either way, I’m hungry, and Indian food sounds SOOO good right now. What a shame…

I’m not sure if I’m alive or dead because the food is heavenly, seriously. Order the Korma and the Tika Masala and be whisked away to an out of body food experience — it’s seriously that good. That’s about all I can say.

Let’s see. Ordered my meal at 6:44 on a Sunday. Ordered chicken tikka, okra, 2 samosas and a couple of garlic naans. Well, showed up at 7:15 to pick up my order and was told they cannot locate my order(shoes them the receipt). Then was told I was at the wrong location, which I then showed them the web site. They did find my order and the guy apologized for the confusion and told me «they are still working on it». At 7:30 my order was ready. I told the manager that it had been 45 minutes since it was placed and was told«chicken tikka takes a long time». I once again stated 45 min and was told«we are busy». So I get home and. The samosa’s are burnt and received tandoori chicken instead of tikka. Never will I return!!!

2+ Hour wait would be OK if we were not told 45 mins. Food was cold when it arrived. Usually they are pretty good and quickish delivery but this was ridiculous. Plus we called a few times and was assured that it was only 10 mins away when it was still over 30 mins out. UPDATE: The owner sent a apology letter and gift card. Used it and the food was great.

I really like the food here. It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but it is far from the worst. However, whenever I order delivery lately, they tell me it will be 45 minutes and then, about 20 minutes after placing my order an waiting, they send me an update saying it will be over 2 hours. I could walk to the restaurant and back and least twice in that time. I will not be ordering from here again any time soon.

So I was in Denver for work and I didn’t want to go out nor spend a lot of money at the hotel restaurant so I decided to order delivery. I checked on Unilocal of course to see what was good. Then once I picked this place I went online to get more reviews. Seem to be a safe spot to order from. So I looked them up on .looked at menu then I called directly to the restaurant. I asked about my choices either fish Marsala or Curry fish. They suggested Marsala so I went with that. He said it would be about an hour. I was fine with that. Gave the hotel address and my room # just I’m case they could come up to deliver. So as I’m watching TV paying bills I noticed that an hour had past and it was now like and hour and a half later and no food or call. I was getting hungry, so I called. The lady said it was on its way, and about 10 mins or so after that I got a call. Only to find out they gave my room # as the address for where I was located! REALLYPPL!!? So I had to tell the delivery guy the right address and wait another 5 – 7 mins or so b4 he got there. I was so annoyed. I ordered my food around lil b4720p and I didn’t he get it til around 9p. Once I got the food of course it’s now not really hot nor did they give me a paper plate or anything to eat on. It didn’t come in your regular to go sectional container(I guess cause how Saucy it was), but in 2 separate containers. So now I had to go down get a plate from hotel restaurant. I was so annoyed. I didn’t even ask for the microwave b/c I was so hungry. The food itself was just ok. The garlic Nan was good. I think I would have enjoyed it better had I not waited so long and if the food was hotter. They give you so much rice that I had some leftover with some Marsala so I saved it for next day. Yea not as good as leftover unfortunately. The fish tasted fishy and it just wasn’t as good. Which I was lil surprised. Sometimes leftover are the best. I guess it might be a nice place to eat b/c it sounded busy over the phone, but for delivery. Mm not so much in my opinion.

Chicken korma and curry– tasty as can be! Only comment is that I would have liked the spice kicked up a notch-could have been my bad for not asking-I darn well always forget to do so! Heed this if you like spicy and savory… ask!!! Stellar waitstaff. Tip: they have gluten free dishes should you be of that persuasion…

I very rarely write reviews but I am just so insulted by this restaurant that I had to. My boyfriend and I love to try new delivery places for when we have cozy nights in. We decided to try this Indian place and when we got the order the entire sauce was spilled inside of the bag. I called them and they said what is your email we will send you a coupon for the amount you paid. I said thank you so much I really appreciate it. 3 months later nothing nothing. So I decided to call again and they acted like they had never heard of me. They said no problem send us a screenshot of the order and we will get back to you in 10 minutes so you can order from us tonight. Well it’s been 2 days and nothing! This is terrible and I have never been so disrespected by a restaurant. I hope you will read this before ordering. Obviously their customers loyalty and happiness doesn’t mean a thing to them.

A-OK Nothing to complain about… Buffet could probably be cheaper by a couple dollars. Cool on the inside, nice flavors. Good service. Sometimes they run coupons in westwood, local paper, etc. Keep an eye out for for those to enjoy some curry on the cheap dawg

Little India never fails. Delivery can be a little faster but they do deliver within the time frame they provide, which is always an hour(INSANE!!). So don’t wait until you’re starved to order! Because you will probably die of hunger while waiting. haha! I still love them tho. Food is always consistently DELICIOUS. I always get their lamb special. All their dishes are legit good tho! Always full of flavor and never fails to hit the spot. Their naan is always fresh and fantastic! Their mango lassi is also really really good and the Kheer OMG there are no words. LOL. Obviously I’m a big fan. Little India is always a go to spot when I’m craving for some Indian. Best in Denver so far.

Great food! …when you’re in the restaurant. The online ordering system, however, is HORRIBLE! It takes at least 15 to 20 minutes to get through the process of ordering online and I have been charged 3 times in one order. Stick to calling them directly, or going in person. Other than that, this is the best Indian food I’ve ever had in Denver. So I guess that excuses their awful online ordering option.

1.75hrs for delivery?! Open until 10. Order placed at 830. 10:45…nothing. Went to bed hungry. Eat24 is becoming a garbage app too. I didn’t think ordering 1.5 hours prior to close was the same as walking into the restaurant 2 minutes before close… Sorry I inconvenienced you with my business and $ 3 tip on $ 15. Won’t happen again.

Ordered to go from this place and it was the best I’ve had since being in Denver. Tried the chicken tikka masala with rice and garlic naan along with some samosas. I ended that meal quite satisfied. I called about a week later within about 30 minutes before the posted close time to do a pick up and the guy on the phone put me on hold, after a few minutes he comes back he tells me the kitchen is closed haha! Found it hilarious but not so happy with the customer service. I understand sometimes there are 1 off issues and things happen but for those of you calling… call well before their final 30 minutes since«the kitchen is closed».

Maybe we’re spoiled coming from Chicago where Indian is a second to pizza. But this place was terrible! Undercooked rice, no choice of hot, medium or mild for the curry. The madras was like chicken in pasta sauce. Stay away if you like real Indian food.

I was not impressed. When we got to the restaurant we were sitted fast which was really good, but after that the service went downhill. They took forever to being our food out and the waiter just disappeared after taking our order. We finished our food and insted of the waiter bring our check he was talking and laughing with his friends. We waited for him for 15 minutes until i actually had to get up and get his attention then he took another 10 minutes just to bring our check. There’s way better Indian food in other places do not recommend this one. Not great food and horrible service

Rather disappointing. The silverware was dirty, had a reject water glass. The pappadam was way overdone and the shrimp in the vindaloo hadn’t been cleaned real well. However, the lamb jalfrazie was excellent and the alu naan was perfect.

Do not order online! Order over the phone! First off… Little India has the best Indian Food in Denver, but I think they know this and don’t accommodate issues like mine. I have ordered online delivery from Little India multiple times for lunch, and they deliver within 30 minutes. I ordered Chicken Tikka and Naan around 11:37 expecting my lunch to be delivered somewhere around 12:30. The food hadn’t arrived by 1:20 so I called to check on it. The order had only come in 5 minutes before and it would take an hour to make then delivered. That’s making my delivery time at 2:20 from an original 11:37am order. I’m a teacher and can’t leave my job, so this is a bit of an inconvenience. They only told me they’d cancel my order, with no refund or discount for having to wait close to 3 hours for my lunch. I did get a free sweet out of the deal… which was a nice little perk.

Growing up in the UK, Indian food has always been a huge favorite in my family and we can be quite picky about it. Little India is hands down the best Indian in Denver. Chicken Vindaloo is spicy, garlic naan is fantastic, sag paneer is perfect and the chicken tikka is fresh and served with lots of veggies. Favorite kind of comfort food right here. Word of warning: don’t order delivery. Takes a super long time and shows up cold. Pick it up instead! Don’t change, Little India! Don’t change a thing…(except your delivery time).

Arrived 45 minutes prior to close of the buffet. Good was bland and cold. Extremely cold. Tandoori chicken was moist and had good flavor. Would have given 3 or 4 stars if food was warm. Ok– original post was one star. Increased star review as the management had an amazing response and was so kind!

As a foodie, with high expectations in indian food and my inlaws are indian. I arrived with high expectations as I ate here. Pros: water with lemon/lime Spinach saag had some flavor Cons: the tandoori chicken was flavorless and dry. Vegetable pakora lacked flavor In fact all of their dishes lacked authentic flavor and has been water downed for the masses. Not sure why such high ratings, unless you’ve never been to India, or eaten in Seattle, or San Francisco. Not sure why indian restaurants disrespect themselves by doing this. My recommendation for a lunch buffet is to have more options for $ 10.99 Two or three chicken dishes, one lamb, goat or fish dish. Then a few vegetarian options with naan, appam, poori.

Maybe we caught this place on a bad night but since I’m from out of town, I’ll never know. Just to list the highlights of our experience with Little India– –Ordered online. Told a 45 min wait. Instead got an hour and 45 minute wait. –Called to find out where the food was at an hour and ten minutes. Told it was out and would be there shortly. Ps– we’re only 10 blocks away from this place. –Over a half hour later the food showed up, unsurprisingly cold. –Was offered by the nice lady on the phone(she was nice and courteous. One point) a free meal the next time we ordered. Who would order again after that experience? –Maybe it was from the effects of microwaving our food but it was on par with Trader Joes frozen indian food… actually Trader Joes was better. I’m sure there’s better Indian food out there Denver. Go find it.

I had dinner here tonight and it was absolutely delicious! I’ve been to Little India several times and this is the only indian food I can eat outside of my mom’s home cooking. I’d definitely recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Naan, and Kheer.

I’ve been going to Little India on 6th on a regular basis for nearly 10 years and they are *consistent* in the best way. Their Downing Street location is a close second.(There are 2 other locations which may or may not be affiliated??? I think it’s complicated.) The Chicken Tikka Masala is my FAVORITE and I believe it’s their most popular entrée. I’ve tried that dish at many restaurants in many cities, but this one is by far the BEST. Amazingly flavorful. Chicken Tikka Masala isn’t offered at the lunch buffet, but the buffet is so good!(7 days/week) The Chicken Tikka Korma is my 2nd fav. I don’t even like onions, but instead of naan, I love their Onion Kulcha. I do love the Aloo Naan, which is a meal in and of itself! I’ve always had great customer service, too. When my family from Chicago visits me, Little India is always a MUST at their request. I’m a picky eater, but you can’t go wrong at this place.

I had lunch here the other day(lunch buffet, $ 10.99) and I would say it was OK — not great, but OK. Most items I tried were tasty, but nothing had enough heat(spiciness). I get that for a buffet you have to cater to the masses, but I did expect the green mint chutney to have heat and it(sadly) did not. The Tandoori chicken was pretty tasty, but too salty. The Chicken Curry(or was it Chicken Tika Masala?) was pretty good as was the Saag Paneer. I also tried the rice, curried potatoes and the Naan — all of which were very good. As far as condiments, besides the mint chutney, I tried the Raita. I didn’t care for their version at all. I got there fairly early(around 11:40, or so), and the buffet was well stocked and hot. The restaurant was clean, and service(replenishing drinks, and clearing empty plates) was very good. I have no major complaints(except for the lack of heat in the mint chutney!). While not even close to being the best Indian buffet I’ve ever had, I found it serviceable. I’ll probably eat here again — especially with the ‘$ 3 off the lunch buffet’ coupons I keep finding in the local rags. BTW, besides street parking, they have a very small private parking lot — maybe half a dozen or so spaces.

I have been here a few times now in the past couple of months with a friend who loves it. I am on the fence. I have tried a variety of different dishes, and while all were fine, none were anything I would rave about. The servers are very friendly, which makes up for some of the confusion due to a little bit of a language barrier I think. When dining out, I am all about the experience and the atmosphere. Here is where there could be improvement. Every time I am there I nearly wipe out while walking to the bathroom(very clean, btw!). While the floor looks clean and I have no doubt it is, there must be some kind of film on it. I have no doubt I will be back as it is a friend’s favorite and the service is consistently positive.

I drive by every day to work and last week I decided to try the lunch buffet. I got there towards the end of the buffet which might explain the crispy rice, over salty butter chicken and the harried attitude of the staff. The table I was given had food on the floor under it and the whole place felt dirty. The signs at the buffet were hurriedly scribbled on cardboard and the buffet felt limp and tired. I tried the buttered chicken which was decent but too salty to want to eat it again. The sag paneer was good but not mind blowing. I also tried the vegetable pakora which was the best thing on the plate. And as I mentioned the rice was crispy and past its prime. A good cleaning and fresher food might be in order.
