It’s good for what it was – really felt like a roadhouse. We only went for drinks and they were quick about it. There is a patio to enjoy the nice evening, but it was also where the smokers hung out. It was otherwise way too loud inside with the live music(which wasn’t bad). Weird thing was it took irritatingly long to close out the tab.

I’ve been to Lincoln’s Roadhouse twice — once for an open mike night and most recently to see a band. The bar is like a throwback — old vinyl booths and a small stage area. But, I really like it. It is very casual and a great place to watch your favorite band in a small, intimate space.

This place is fun! Live music on the weekend nights. Had a great time dancing. This place is full of regulars and you have to get there a little early(7pm) if you want a table. Live music starts at 9. Hole in the wall, nothing fancy, but full of good peeps and cheap drinks. Pool tables available for play!

Divey but with fabulous Louisiana style Cajun food. Sunday afternoon live music, patio and a more mature crowd add to the ambiance. My BF and i enjoyed the Shrimp Creole. Added Louisiana Hot Sauce and it was super!

Six of us stopped in for dinner before a mammoth game, this was my first visit. We all shared hush puppies, fried pickles, fried crawfish tails & mushrooms for appetizers, all very good. We all had cocktails that were put together well & didn’t seem watered down at all. I had ½ a fried oyster po boy that was awesome, I also ordered the jambalaya & opted for the gumbo instead of the salad. The gumbo was okay, watery & lacked some flavor. The jambalaya was cooked perfectly and looked great but lacked some flavor also. If the roux in the gumbo was a little thicker & there was a shaker of Tony’s on the table they would’ve earned an extra star.

I love this place! I popped in by myself(almost didn’t being a female and alone) so glad I did! I felt very welcomed and enjoyed my lunch. service was great, food is fantastic. I am planning on making the trip again just to go here for the Blues & Brews block party.

I’ve been making my way across CO biker bars, thus far this is the only place I will never return to. If you like white, narrow, racists people, enjoy. I’ll pass.

Several years back when I lived in the area, I remember this place being lots of fun, and many times this was where friends wanted to meet up for the night and it was a great time. Sadly, in a recent weekend visit, it was not at all like I remembered in the atmosphere, though it still looks exactly the same. I came in with a crew & experienced many patrons staring us down with surly looks as if we walked into some private club where we weren’t invited. It was this very weird vibe where lively music was going on but people looked pissed or depressed, giving off an awkward feeling like one you get where you come upon a group of people who have just had an argument and the aggression is lingering — NOTFUN. If it had just been me & one other friend, I would have turned and walked out immediately. I have always liked this place for NOT being like a LoDo kinda place, and it still is wwwwwaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy on the opposite scale of that, but it didn’t have the cozy welcoming feel of a neighborhood dive bar that it used to have. It used to have a diverse age group of people from around Wash Park &DU, but I can’t imagine anyone in their 20s-30s enjoying this place anymore. We didn’t let it run us off immediately and tried to have a good time among ourselves. We didn’t have service and just ordered from the bar which wasn’t horrible as we were all chill and just looking to enjoy some music, though at one point we did think about ordering food, but since there wasn’t any real service, instead of ordering several food items we just got one to tie us over until we went somewhere else. I do still like this place for having live music and it’s divey feel, but the fun atmosphere seems to be gone. I’m giving it an extra star simply for still having live music which was good. Hope it bounces back and gets a more lively attitude.

The waitress walked past me no less than 12 times and even asked others at my table if they’d like another drink. Never even made eye contact. I felt invisible. Horrible service. I won’t be back.

Many, many moons ago I remember having great food here. Recently, I ventured back since I now work close enough to pop in for lunch. I went with the Friday Special(available all the time): half a po-boy and a cup of gumbo for 9-bucks. I would have been disappointed in this meal deal at half the price: the half-a-catfish po-boy had such a little cut of catfish, I had to consider how even more disappointed I would have been with double its portion on a full-sized po-boy to console myself. The gumbo seemed to have the ingredients of gumbo, but it was whipped up in the vein of vegetable soup. GOOD gumbo should have a dark roux as its base: gravy-like and savory. This was watery and I slurped it down mostly out of hunger. It was disappointing, especially because I envisioned hitting Lincoln’s up for lunch regularly to get a Cajun fix… Alas, I can’t imagine returning for the food.

Burgers? Pickles fried to perfection? Old style home-feel atmosphere? Lincolns can be a rough establishment. Been present for a few hefty brawls, but nothing too intense that couldn’t be managed! Stop in for drinks and true bar style food with a Cajun twist during the day or check out the regular live music and jumpin crowd throughout the week and always on the weekends!

Worst hamburger I have ever had. I will say that the first time I ate here, I had a great blackened tuna sandwich with wonderful french fries. However, the second time I ate here it was disgusting! I ordered the shrimp basket, were those really shrimp? And my companion ordered the hamburger, and at first I ordered the blackened tuna, but was told after a few minutes, that they were out of the tuna, bummer! The fries tasted old and chewy and the shrimp was fried to a crispy, and crusty burned flavor! The service(except for the waiter not knowing they were out of tuna) was fine. Friendly both visits. Just amazing that in only 3 days, the food went down hill so far. We returned so soon because we were so pleased the first time. Now I am skeptical about going back. Will the food be great again or a waste of money? Too risky for me. Consistency is the backbone of any restaurant/bar and Lincoln’s Roadhouse is lacking in this department. Too bad, cause the vibe was good and the bar is cute and sort of cozy.

Cool dive/biker bar with great live blues music on the weekend. Always a fun time. I’ve been here with people who we’re eating and apparently the food is pretty good, though I’ve never tried it myself. The staff is friendly and the drinks are inexpensive. Worth checking out when you’re in the neighborhood.

A just-right dive bar with waaaayyyy above average food, friendly service, good beer selection. I devoured the Pot Roast Burrito and stole bites of my boyfriend’s Meat Loaf Cheeseburger.(Ok, yes, I shared mine with him, too, grudgingly) I wanted to try the Cajun food too but it was just one meal and I had to choose. I made a good choice. I’ll be back some day for Cajun. And maybe a band on a weekend. I highly recommend this place for a late lunch Saturday just chillin’ place.

A fun dive bar near several other great little joints. Overall the food is pretty good. They specialize in cajun — so be sure to come craving some spice. I recommend that fried pickles with ranch dressing.(The ranch is homemade and deliverers!). Drinks are pretty reasonable and so is the service. We ventured out on a Wednesday evening during open mix night and heard some pretty good jazzy locals.

Delicious cajun fare, cool and friendly bartender Big Belly. Fun crowd during broncos game. Great dive bar feeling to it with high quality food. Take care of that rather unappetizing smell hanging in the air and they will be on their way to greatness.

I was here to watch a band and ended up getting some food. My friend got a burger and fries. The fries were some of the best seasoned fries I have ever had. The mushrooms on the burger were cooked perfectly. He enjoyed the burger. I had the shrimp creole and gumbo. The bread that comes with both was great. I could have eaten that bread all day long. The gumbo was also great. The shrimp creole was okay. I would have liked less tomato chunks and more shrimp and rice. Otherwise it was good and there were some sauces at the table to spice everything up.

So, I get that this is a dive bar and is supposed to resemble a dive bar, but I totally walked out of this bar. My boyfriend and I went here for a low key date night dinner, sat at a booth, and started to look at the menu. Unfortunately, the entire place just looked filthy and smelled of vomit and cigarettes. There was sticky stuff under my chair and under the table, and I watched the bartender rub his extremely large beard and then grab a lemon and drop it in a drink. My boyfriend wasn’t deterred — having heard great reviews — and insisted on trying the gumbo. He liked it, but agreed to leave with me for dinner at Hanson’s instead. The patrons looked perfectly normal and there did appear to be a band setting up. Perhaps this is more the type of place you come to get drunk enough to not notice the smell and hair in your drink, but I definitely won’t be eating here.

I walked in here totally in a good mood and really liked the feel of the place. I left in a bad mood due to being treated with total disrespect. My server brought me food I didn’t order, and then I ended up not liking my overly-salty under-fired blackened catfish, so I sent it back. I went to smoke on the patio, and we asked her specifically not to let go of our table. Came back in, our table was bussed, and another couple was sitting there. The bartender offered to kick them off, but it wasn’t their fault. The waitress then attempted to remove the couple from the table, so we ended up awkwardly sharing the table for a minute, but we just wanted to close out at that point. My sent-back catfish was on the bill, so I asked her to take it off. She snatched the bill out of my hand and without saying a word to me, stomped over to the bartender, who huffed and puffed over comping the meal I didn’t eat. He tossed her the bill and then she just slammed it down in front of me. Not a word was said to me about why I didn’t like it or what was wrong. I was ignored and made to feel awkward by angry staff that didn’t have time to acknowledge my problem. Then I had to ask what the $ 18.00 on my bill was for — two vodka drinks! But then he said the server bought my friend a drink for the wrong pickle order. So why was she charged for both drinks? I was ready to leave. So I paid the tab with my friend. Finally the bartender saw how frustrated I was and offered us a shot. We took it, and he finally apologized, which is fine, but I’d rather have just been treated kindly from the get-go. Even if something goes wrong, you can fix it by being a decent server and ask what is wrong and offer to do something, anything. I know we all have bad days, but seriously, going here killed my buzz. I had to go get a drink after my drink to try and erase it from my memory. On the up side — my friend said her catfish poboy was good and so was her green chili. Too bad I left hungry. I wanted to like this place, walked in totally ready to enjoy myself. They had every opportunity to make it right, and didn’t.
