Kmart Little Caesars Pizza Station

One of the worst chain restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Not only was the place rundown looking (used to be some sort of pizza & salad bar inside Kmart, but now is dilapidated and just completely confusing), but the food & service were awful too. They sold Kmart slushies… I’m not sure where little ceasars starts & Kmart ends? There was a gigantic soda fountain that wasn’t hooked up, but is only being used to hold a few condiments. Old signage from the previous business was still up, but falling apart.
After looking past that, the guy taking my order seemed to look right past me and said he couldn’t hear anything I was saying, even though I was practically yelling at him. I’m not a soft spoken person, I’ve got a loud military «bark» so I’m not sure what his issue was. He seemed very slow, like he was high or drunk. But I looked past that too.
They don’t have a modern order taking system so he had to write everything down, which took FOREVER because he didn’t know where anything was. Then he had to ring everything up AFTER writing it down. Then he had to literally run each order to the girl in the back which was at least 20−30+ feet away.
It took FOREVER to get my food, nothing was hot & ready like the motto says. More people were in line than waiting in the enormous, empty, filthy lobby-​like waiting area. But as people got their orders which were burnt, people in line began leaving.
I double checked my order before leaving, it was slightly burnt also. Instead of waiting another half hour for another order I just took my horrible food & experience home to my impatiently waiting family. No one was impressed with the food.
I’ll NEVER be going back to this little Cesar’s.

Horrible experience. We have been here once or twice and never has it been this bad. We waited FOR-​EV-​ER to get one pizza and crazy bread. After our wait, we were given a pizza that had been sitting on the counter the whole time we were there. I had even told my husband, I wonder if we will get that pizza… then they went to get marinara sauce for the crazy bread, and pulled it out of the fridge… All three employees were slow and kept disappearing during their obviously busiest time of the day.
Cold pizza, poor service… awful. I will drive the extra 10 minutes to a better one if I decide I want their pizza.

It appeared to be a full-​bore Little Caesars menu mixed in with a snack bar/​café menu that I’m guessing is unique to Kmart. No issues with order timing, employees seemed friendly enough, and there appeared to be a huge dine-​in seating area — something you don’t often see in Little Caesars outlets. Definitely worth it.

Pizza as solid as ever, but the crazy bread was wack. Get it together, guys.
And yes, I’ll still be back :)
