Buy KitchenAid if you are masochistic; enjoy nightmare products; and look forward to multiple repair attempts that waste your time with unreparable design flaws; The couldn’t pay me enough(well maybe a trip — around — the world, where I wouldn’t have to come home to use a KitchenAid appliance), to ever even consider a future KitchenAid appliance. I did not pick these appliances that came with our new construction home, and laughingly call them our lemons, for which there is no lemonade to be had. Only the sour taste of the KitchenAid brand. Here’s to hoping they go out of business soon and die a horrible business death. Consumer beware — do your research and read all reviews and reconsider reconsider reconsider.

A high end Kitchen Aid dishwasher(stainless inside and out) came with our new house in 2011. We bought a 5 year extended warranty from Kitchen Aid. Our top«drawer» recently began falling off the rack on the right side every time we pulled it out. Called Kitchen Aid and used their recommended repair service. When the tech got out here he said it may not be covered under warranty. He called Kitchen Aid, described the broken part, and no, it wasn’t covered. After repair, I’m out $ 145. If you’re looking for a dishwasher, avoid Kitchen Aid and their worthless extended warranty like the plague. Repair tech said Kitchen Aid replaced the plastic part that broke with a metal part on newer models. Thanks for not taking care of existing owners ya mutts.
