Horrible customer service. Rude people all together. Half hour drive through from 1230-130. Not even a sorry for the wait, thank you, have a good day. What else is expected off 28th& Colorado Blvd.

I’m gonna help these guys average — *a little*. Some cooking facilities were out and had been for days, so they couldn’t prepare some meals(cookies, and a few other things I can’t recall a week later). They also were out of some of the ingredients to their new«bowl» recipe with cheddar cheese and bacon on it. The staff seemed all right and personable to me… but it also took a cashier and a manager-type 4 – 5 minutes to figure out how to charge up a discounted meal on the FrontFlip app that KFC partners with. Really? O_o Food was tasty enough and welcome on a cold day, my friend enjoyed his too — you guys gotta step up your game though. Fix that oven, or whatever it is you all use to bake cookies and prep some of your meals. Outside of the place felt somewhat disheveled and dirty feeling. Ick.

Extremely rude customer service from the guy at the counter. My chicken I ordered was not cooked all the way so I asked could I maybe get some strips instead. He grabbed the box and threw it in the trash behind him and yelled«can I get three strips». No apology and a rude attitude. There are way too many people needing jobs to act like that.

Sometimes a girl just need some fried chicken. It’s been years since I’ve KFC and when I walked into this location was hit with the overwhelming scent of stank. It smelled like BO and dirty mop water but even that couldn’t deter me from getting some chicken. Um, when the hell did KFC get so expensive? It’s frickin KFC. I got the hot wings which were lackluster at best(I had to break out my girl Cholula to get it some extra zing). The one redeeming thing was that the cole slaw is still bomb. Sigh, let the search for a good fried chicken place begin…

Boo on me(and KFC). I soooo made a food mistake for lunch today. I bypassed a neat new restaurant I’d heard about on Unilocal(Frank’s Kitchen on 26th)(that gets 4.5 stars from 16 reviewers), and stupidly decided to travel on to KFC around 28th and Colorado for what proved to be a miserable fast food lunch. Ordered the 2 piece original wing/breast meal with slaw and corn. With a small drink, that set me back around $ 8.50. Argggh! I should have given it to the guy on the corner with the sign that said, «Why lie? I want a beer and a smoke. Have a nice day.» The chicken was dry. The corn was so overcooked and artificially sweetened – all wrapped up in it’s tin foil – that it seemed more like creamed candy corn mush on a stick. The slaw was KFC slaw; so no surprise there. But the crowning insult was they served it to me without their famous spork/napkin/wipes package, so I had to raid my glove compartment for some old napkins and a leftover plastic fork(I luckily carry around with me). All in all, a pathetic lunch and a lost opportunity to try what I’ve heard is a neat little neighborhood eatery.
