Good place. They have a lot of grocery items. It comes in handy if you forget like tomato paste at the grocery store. Don’t buy any perishable, it has probably already perished. The food items are overpriced but they don’t have the buying power of a Walmart of course. The cigarettes are pretty cheap though.

We like to call this place the bodega down the block. It’s a stretch to call it a grocery store(even a mini-grocery) — unless you only cook with items in jars and cans. I’m not judging, I’m just sayin’. They have an impressive collection of incense, duct tape, and that crazy candy in the red bags that’s always 2 for 1. Oh, and hookas. This place gets 3 stars strictly for my convenience because it’s handy when you need an ATM, an emergency gatorade, or tp or something. And the people-watching is divine.

Either the other reviewer has never left colfax or ownes this place. Granted it may be slighty better than the rest of the colfax dumps, but that is not saying much, and certinaly not a 5 star rating. One the upside they don’t have hobo’s hanging out, but many because they have no booze. And the owner eyed me like I was going to steal something.

Not sure what to think… Jack Market is like Narnia(not unlike many other Colfax«grocery» stores). You are walking along, looking for some chilled green tea, pick up some windshield wiper fluid, walking, walking, walking, and then…“where am I? Is this still Jack Market?” Don’t panic upon uncovering dozens of ancient googly-eyed vintage dolls, Christmas lights, and millions of other tiny/frightening dolls… this IS still Jack Market, though it may not seem this way. Yes, you may be confused. BUT, this is par for the course in D-town, where we like to blur the boundaries. A small market + grocery is not a small market + grocery unless you come across something you have never even encountered in this life time… and much less can think of ANY use for(besides confusing you OR letting you know you are in Denver). Word.
