I first started going to IAA for just general health and overall well being. More of a proactive nature. I wanted to learn more about me and I believe so much in the body and how little we know about it as well as I believe the body can do a lot if we just give it a chance and give it time. So along my new journey, I beat the crap out of my body over a month’s time… more than usual. I’m a personal trainer, strength coach and nutritionist. Oh and I’m 45 by the way. Anyway, I have to be honest… I didn’t really think of acupuncture as a method of healing. Wow, was I wrong! I still went to my bi-monthly appointment with her… not expecting she do much for the muscle damage I had done. Again, I love it when I am wrong cause it means I learned something. So we have used the needles of course, but man… we used cupping, tuning forks, estim, some heat lamps… i think that’s it. anyway… we started this healing process… around september… and just now my body is feeling great and i think i am finally healing… and i can’t imagine that i would be here without christy’s help, guidance and expertise. I have referred people to Christy and will continue to without hesitation.
