The phrase is old school. She’s an independent barber who runs a chair in a slightly dusty barbershop that has been in the University Building for almost 60 years, judging by the dates of the magazines.
What I can tell you about Heather: She gives a great haircut, she’s fun to talk with, and her attention to detail is paramount.
Two things set her apart: 1. She keeps a record of when you come in and what you like, so after the first time you never feel like a stranger. 2. She will never let you walk out with a bad haircut.
She is cash or check only. And give her a call to make a reservation. She gets booked up pretty quick.
