From previous reviews, I requested Ha, who is a female for the record. I thought Ha was a male so it got awkward. I called to see if she was still there and to make an appointment and they told me to just come on in. Seems like they don’t really make appointments, just walk-ins. When I got there, she was finishing up cutting a guy’s hair(and beard). The door was open and there’s no AC. Just something to consider because I went when it was over 90 degrees outside so it was pretty hot inside. She asked me what I wanted to have done with my hair and I told her just a trim with layers and she pulled out a book to ask me if I wanted something different. I declined, but thought it was nice for her to show me other styles. She did a dry cut and sprayed my hair with water which felt amazing inside the hot place. Took about 15 minutes and she took her time to do a good job. We talked about her travels, family, and such. Very friendly, polite, and professional. My cut cost me $ 12! Awesome for the price. Some cons: –I’m Asian and I had some trouble understanding her. I had to ask her to repeat herself a lot. –Big con: They do not use barbicide. When one client is done, they go straight into the next person. The comb in front of me still had a ton of hair on it. Kinda grossed me out, but it was $ 12 and she didn’t use that comb on me so I was okay. –CASHONLY!

If you’re looking for a cheap, but great-looking hair cut, this is your place. The salon is a simple, no-frills kinda place and the service is both expedient and friendly. Chi cut my hair– from chatting with her, I learned that she worked for 20+ years in Ho Chi Minh City and more than 12 years here. So A+ for level of experience. I showed her a photo of the slightly angled bob cut that I wanted, and she executed it with perfection. She meticulously checked to make sure everything was absolutely symmetrical and to my liking. Plus, who can possibly beat $ 18 for wash, cut, blow dry and style, all in less than 1 hour?

Bottom line: great, affordable haircut — they are open 7 days a week My friend wanted to get her haircut this past Sunday and we had difficulty finding a salon that was open, or would answer the phone. I finally thought to look on Unilocal and found Ha’s. This place is great! I followed the advice from the other review and made sure to ask for Ha as the stylist when I called. We were able to zip over and get my friend a haircut in about 1 hour. We did have to wait for her to finish with an earlier appointment, but there were plenty of chairs, magazines, and a TV to keep us entertained. When my friend got in the chair, Ha spent time going over several styling books to ensure she chose the perfect cut. After she was finished cutting, Ha spent another 20 minutes curing and styling my friend’s hair. At the end, my friend looked ready to go out for a night on the town because her hair had been so beautifully cut/styled/curled! I almost dropped by jaw when she went to pay — it was $ 18 for the whole thing! A+++

I went here a second time and due to traffic just missed Ha. I paid the price with a crappy hair cut from another stylist. Next time ask for Ha.
