What happened!!! I loved you guys :(Not only was the buy 1 get one free happy hour gyros an amazing deal — they were delicious! The pita bread was always fresh and the meat flavored perfectly. I can’t even tell you how disappointed I was when I walked over there for my gyro fix and it was closed. Come back please!!!

Unfortunately, Greeks Gone Wild is CLOSED. I went there on 9⁄14 and the signage was removed from the building. A handwritten sigh on the door stated their closure. I will miss this place. When School was in session at DU it was a good place to get late night eats.

I come here exclusively for the Greek salad with gyros meat. They are addictive. Fresh veggies, awesome gyros, and moist pita wedges to scoop it all up with. The place is always slow at lunch, which shocks me given the proximity to DU. Greeks Gone Wild deserves more love. It’s affordable, quick and delicious.

Severely disappointed. Not only does the standard gyro not come with lettuce, hummus, or feta cheese, it’s just not a good taste overall.

Pretty good gyro sandwiches, but I was surprised that we did not receive any lettuce in our sandwiches which we found to be strange. After looking at pictures of food displayed inside the restaurant we noticed that there was supposed to be lettuce in our gyros, but either the cook forgot, or worse, they don’t include lettuce in the Happy Hour special(buy one gyro, get one free). We weren’t able to ask anyone, because once we got our order the staff disappeared from view the rest of the time we were there. The customer service is really lacking here. The cashier looked miserable. He did not thank us for our business, which I’ve always felt should be rule one when working a register. He barely even acknowledged that we were standing in front of him. Even with the happy hour special, the overall experience is not worth our returning business.

We’ve been coming here for years and the food and service have always been fantastic. We requested to put thaziki sauce on the gyro instead of on the side. The employee who was taking our order acted put upon(even though they have granted this request before without a complaint) and it created a poor atmosphere. I felt that if I were to make a request for anything else I was causing an inconvenience. This has never happened before. The service is usually wonderful but for some reason the employee who was working the registry today during the lunch hour was extremely rude.

The buy one get one gyro offer alone makes this one of my favorite eateries in the east DU area. Regarding the gyros: the veggies have a fresh, crispy bite, the pita is soft and the large pieces of beef/lamb meat taste great. A delicious, great value that is available everyday but Saturday. The fries are also pretty good. The service is always nice, too. Their loukoumades have room for improvement but just come for the gyros and you won’t be disappointed.

First of all. Anyone who writes a review for a fast food Greek place that is more than a paragraph is a PITA. it’s good, fast and cheap. I’ll be back.

I love this place! I go because it’s super affordable, fast, and tasty gyros right by my house but it’s always empty when I go which makes me think the preppy DU kids are gonna let it go out of business, which would be a bummer. I just got the buy one get one deal, 2 gyros for $ 6.50?! why all the haters???

The food is not bad, but it’s not great. I wish they would choose a culture and stick with it… Because it seems weird to be a Greek place with a taco special. I enjoy the gyro Greek salad, but there are better options around it.

I so very badly wanted to love this but I couldn’t. The food was awful, didn’t taste right and wasn’t like any Greek food I’d had before. May give it another shot before I write them off in case it was just a bad night.

My family ate their the other night and it was wonderful, go at the right time of night and get bogo gyros. Gyro was fresh and hot and the staff was very considerate, really liked the tzatziki sauce and that it wasn’t overstuffed with onion. Fresh hot fries and rice pudding put smiles on our faces as well.

My friend and I really wanted to love this place. Right now, I’m just hoping not to come down with a case of food poisoning. To be fair, the sides were good. For our meals, he had a chicken kabob sandwich whereas I had the chicken kabob platter. We were told that his was sautéed while mine would take longer because it was grilled. Unfortunately, it didn’t appear to have been grilled long enough, and was seasoned terribly. After I took a few bites, I realized that it was extremely rubbery and some pieces were slightly pink in the middle. Ewww. I got a box to take some to the dog, but decided not to give him very much as it was just too terrible and I worried he might get sick. While I agree that the nearby Jerusalem restaurant has plenty of room for improvement, their food is far better than this. The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because the sides we ordered were pretty good. If I get sick later, I’ll come back on here to edit this.

Thought I ordered a gyro but was given a platter, def not what I wanted. Food was ok, service was good. Parking can be a PIA. Not a bad experience but not great either… so kinda just MEH!

Had the Gyro sandwich and fries. Very generous portions and really tasty! Fries were excellent too. Friendly staff. I recommend this spot if you are in the DU area. There are a lot of places to choose from. You won’t regret the stop here.

The staff member who took our order cracked me up. He was SO enthusiastic about the food it was awesome. Just a really great dude. I got the falafel gyro and I wanted to love it more but it was too heavily saturated in saucy seasoning to the point where my pita was very soggy. The fries and tots(I shared them– okay!!!) were great though. I’d love to give this place another shot some time, or just ask for less saucy seasoning on my falafel wrap next time.

Had a great experience here. Went in and was the only customer in the restaurant. Ordered the Wild Burger and it was done in just a few minutes. It was fresh off the grill and very tasty! Loved the caramelized onions and special sauce. The cashier was also nice and the chef very smiley. Definitely be back and would like to try their other options! :)

One of the better gyros I’ve had. The souvlaki gyro was tasty, with fresh veggies, and good tzatziki sauce. The bread seemed made in-house. Fries were done right. And the baklava was good and seemed different from the usual, in a good way. They apparently have a new Mexican food menu, taped on their menu board, which just seems totally out-of-place. But I guess they also have chorizo burgers. Looking forward to returning and trying other items.

They Have a Menu For the Blind. A Menu is on the right side of the wall thats so large if your blind you can see it. And it also has some pictures. Then they have one behind the cash register hanging up as well. Nothing fancy about the décor. But its clean. The Tables are clean. The Chairs are clean. Its at a nice ambient Temperature. Has Two TV’s but they air the same thing on both. So anyway you sit your pointing at a TV. I ordered the Gyro with fries and a Soda. The Wait wasnt long at all for my food to come out. And they bring it to your table. The Gyro was fresh and Hot. I needed to wait for it to cool down. The Side of Tzatkiki sauce was big enough I didnt even have to ask for another pour over my Gyro. The Garlic fries werent just standard or maybe they were and just properly seasoned. But they tasted so fresh and delicious. The Prices are very reasonable. And If i could I would eat here every day. They also have desserts on the menu.
