The staff is friendly and helpful. I was seeking barn boards for a Topiary set for my wife. It appears that they run a good business. The price I paid for a 1×12×8′ was a bit more than I was prepared for– as I used to work in lumber… and after all, this is old barn wood. However, its a free economy, and that is that.

Front Range Timber is the place to go for all of your reclaimed wood needs! We came here yesterday afternoon and found exactly what we were looking for at a great price. Luke, the staff member that was there at the time, was extremely nice and helpful. The selection of wood they have is incredible, you’ll be sure to find what you’re looking for here. I’ll definitely be back!

Really excited about find the one place in Denver with affordable reclaimed wood. I was able to pickup some nicely grey’d barn wood for a 3’h 6’w reclaimed table for a client.
These guys go the extra mile to travel and bring back new reclaimed wood all the time. I really appreciate that.
Suggestion — I went to Rockler this weekend near Cherry Creek and asked about any places for reclaimed lumber and they didn’t know about FRT. I suggest you guys do a few you team up with them as wood workers are starving for your stuff.

We came up with a great idea to do a DIY feature wall in our home bar using reclaimed wood. Our experience with the staff at Front Range was awesome. They were excited to give us the information we needed to get started.
We stopped in on a Saturday am… their busiest time I’m guessing. That particular day, the selection was limited on the color of wood we were looking for. When we couldn’t find the right pieces, we were shown photos of a barn that was in process of being dismantled. The wood arrived the following weekend, and was definitely worth the wait.
I would totally recommend a visit to their shop if you are considering a reclaimed wood project. Bar project 2.0 is in our heads…

My girlfriend wanted a headboard she saw on pinterest. I drive by this warehouse location almost everyday, so I stopped in on a whim. Very helpful staff that let me and my girl layout what we wanted on the floor, so we could get a good concept of what the finished product would look like. Very patient with us and all of our questions!
They ripped each piece to 5″ width for us, then we used chop saw to do a tiling affect. Mounted plywood to studs, then used a finishing nailer to mount the wood to the plywood. Used scraps to make frames. Looks great! We are very happy with how it came out. Thanks for your insight and assistance.
I’d say its worth calling first to see when a fresh shipment is coming in, so you have a better selection.

Ryan and Andy are awesome. As an artist in Denver, I found it near impossible to find the reclaimed wood I was looking for, for my furniture pieces, but I stumbled upon them earlier this year and it’s the only place I’ll buy wood from. They always have a great selection of different wood and are always updating their stock. Their prices are fair and they are very knowledgeable and friendly. I hesitate to tell anybody about them and even to write this, because I don’t want everyone to know about this hidden warehouse gem! But they deserve the recognition. Thanks guys!

I was a bit unsure about the whole reclaimed wood idea but always loved seeing it when it was installed. The designer we had strongly encouraged us to use reclaimed wood for our business but said that most companies in the area aren’t very good. We heard from two people about Front Range Timber which is a very new business and those guys made us feel very good about the kind of quality they can provide for us. They literally went across the country to get our wood and the prices were much more reasonable than some of the other places we talked to (or tried and never heard back). If we open up another store… hopefully some day, we will definitely want to work with these guys again.

I was searching for reclaimed wood in the Denver area and came across the blog site for Front Range Timber. I was looking for a place that would sell me reclaimed wood so I could build a beautiful sliding barn door that I saw on Pinterest. I had a price in mind that I didn’t want to exceed and set foot through their door. I was pleasantly surprised that they had not only the wood that I wanted but hardware too, at a very reasonable price. The 2 guys that worked with me Ryan & Andy where so friendly to work with. I rate this business an easy 5 stars because of the product & friendliness of the owners. Now I have many more projects in mind for my home using reclaimed wood. They will keep getting my business.
