Firefly Home Inspection, Inc

Tom from Firefly Home Inspection came recommended from our realtor. We bought our home last summer and I am finally getting around to writing this review. We are so appreciative that we were able to work with Tom. We have purchased an interesting condo that was a little older and a garden level unit. Tom made us aware of all the things that would need to be fixed up, but also made us feel more comfortable and knowledgable about purchasing the home. We’ve been here for a year and haven’t had any issues and are confident that Tom’s inspection was thorough. During closing, we were also under a time crunch and he got things done quickly, while still maintaining thoroughness! I would definitely recommend Tom from Firefly Home Inspection!

As a real estate broker in Denver, it’s critical that I only recommend the best to my clients. Tom and Rocco are my go-​to inspectors. They’re incredibly thorough and make a point to fully explain any issues to a buyer in a way that leaves the client informed versus nervous about their purchase. They do a terrific job at taking the time to distinguish a defect in the home that requires immediate attention from something that can be fixed in time and will explain how to go about making the various repairs. What impresses me most with Tom and Rocco is their customer service beyond the initial inspection. Even after a client has closed on a home, they’re fully available for questions and have recommended several contractors to clients. I fully recommend Firefly to any real estate professional or buyer!

Tom at Firefly did a fantastic job. I was in a time crunch to get the inspection completed and Tom made it out to the property the very next day! Great service. He explained everything as he saw it– very knowledgeable. Took pictures of everything and provided us a great check list of items we should do once we move in. Couldn’t have asked for better service

I was so impressed with Tom and Rocco at Firefly — Rocco did an excellent job on my home inspection, taking time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and didn’t use the scare tactics you so often find with inspection companies. Instead, he explained what was important to fix and why, and now I have a clear to-​do list moving forward!
Also, a new potential problem popped up in between my inspection and closing, and not only did Tom answer my question, he drove straight to the property to check it out himself and ensure nothing was wrong.

Tom and Rocco at Firefly did an awesome job. I was very pleased with how thorough they were as well as how much time they took to explain and walk through everything with me.
I bought a 100 year old home and wanted a bit of a fixer upper. I expected to find some issues, which there were. However, instead of trying to scare me to cover their skin, they explained how much each issue would cost and the time required. I appreciate being given the facts and letting me decide for myself.
After being in the house for a month now their recommendations have been right on and I use their report as a checklist of things to work on.
Rocco has worked on a lot of old homes and was a huge help with ideas and personal experience on these Denver Victorians. He went through every detail, helped me work on my priority list and had solutions to get my house in gear.
If I buy another house, I will definitely use Firefly again and have already recommended them to a buddy.
