Electri-Serve

Asked for a simple install of a light fixture and the bid was some service package for $ 2000! I could get the «band-​aid» which was just the install I asked for, for about $ 800. Wow. Will find someone else next time.

We needed/​wanted to have a variety of things done in our house. We installed 13 dimmers, replaced a fuse, installed a new light in a bathroom, and a few other things. We got a variety of quotes, and ElectriServe gave us the best quote (one quote was more than double what ElectriServe quoted). That worried me a bit, but the value we received was unprecedented. The work was spot on, they were friendly, and they even gave us some tips for how to take care of a few things ourselves. We will not go to anyone else in the future — awesome stuff!

Absolutely loved my experience with Electri-​Serve it was fast and painless. I replaced my electrical panel on my house and an outside outlet. Jeff was awesome at explaining all answers to my questions. Price was reasonable and when the electrician came out, he was super friendly, kept my house clean, and wasn’t as loud as I expected. Passed inspections no problems. I highly recommend them!

The gentleman who came out to bid my job ($ 5,000) was great he was very kind and polite. He told me I would have my estimate by lunch time! Fast forward a few days and multiple calls I finally got my bid.

My much awaited kitchen remodel is under way. After thinking about, waiting for, and saving — I couldn’t wait for the exciting changes. Jeff came to do the estimate on the electrical. He was on-​time, gave suggestions as to what would work, was fair in his pricing. I did have to call to remind him about the estimate, but that isn’t unexpected. The quoted price was fair and reasonable. The first day of work the electrician showed up on time, spent the first day planning out the work — better that than jumping in and making a mess of things! The electrician did talk A LOT! And complained throughout the process — which is the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars. We hit a couple of bumps in the road, again not unexpected. But Jeff’s handling of the bumps was simply outstanding. He went over and above to make sure I was happy.

In the summer, it’s tough to pin down an independent electrician who can make it to your house and install a much-​needed ceiling fan so you and your family don’t melt into the bedsheets overnight. At least, that was my experience after I called some of the most well reputed electricians on Unilocal,sometime during the month of June, and discovered not one of them was available within three weeks.
Then I called Electri-​Serve after being referred to them by someone who also has a reasonable amount of patience. They responded to my request almost immediately – and even better, had an electrician out to install my fan by week’s end.
Bill, the gentleman who came to complete the process, was knowledgeable and efficient; he needed to cut a small hole in my ceiling to run wiring, but kept the drywall intact and made sure not to make a mess (what little mess he did make, he cleaned up).
The only thing that was a little slow was the invoice following our service – but I’d gladly take prompt, courteous and sufficient service and a late invoice over an independent electrician slapping me with monthlong waiting period and handing me the bill onsite.
I will be calling these guys again, no doubt.
