Einsteins Bros Bagels

I really like it here but the morning crew uses gloves to protect their hands, not to keep the food uncontaminated. All of the workers wear their gloves when getting boxes from the back, opening the door, wiping their aprons, and one guy scratched his ass. Then they touch bagels, prepare orders and then pass them out to us. Gross. Change your gloves please.

I wish we had a better bagel shop in the neighborhood. This place is staffed by the slowest, most apathetic group of people I have encountered at a chain restaurant.
Furthermore, they cannot keep track of their food. I constantly see people being sold everything bagels only to tell them after that they don’t actually have any. Nearly every time I am here after 10am they are sold out of everything bagels, yet continue letting people purchase them.

Good but the iced tea is horrible!!! The Mango iced tea tastes like chemicals. What an awful brand they use!
Please change vendors!

My last trip to Einsteins was just great. Their system was down due to some glitch. I barely waited 5 minutes while they tried to fix it, but when they couldn’t, they gave me the bagel for free. Great customer service, and I will absolutely keep going there.

I love their coffee and their breakfast sandwiches. The santa fe has changed my life.

I frequently find myself here to obtain caffeine and breakfast because it is nearby, open early enough before work, and not Starbucks. Every experience is different though. There are times when the service is fast & friendly, and the food is delicious. Then there are days, more often than not, where the staff is clueless about their jobs, everything takes forever, and the food is horrible. The location also has a cleanliness issue. The dining room and restrooms are often in need of through cleaning. It seems like things get cleaned only once a week in those common areas when they should be scrubbed down daily. Behind the counter and the kitchen area appear to be cleaned consistently which I am grateful for. By far, the worse food I’ve gotten there are the bagel dogs and the salads. The bagel dogs consist of a bland overcooked hot dog and a rubbery bagel wrapping. The salads consist of dried out chicken bits and extremely bland salad dressings. The bagels with a smear of cream cheese or peanut butter are the best food options. Their sandwiches and pastries are very hit and miss. The pastries are often stale and/​or over-​baked. Iced coffee drinks constantly change their natures — order an iced latte and get a frozen blended coffee instead. The Fruit Smoothies are repulsive and far too sweet.

Einsteins always has a great selection of awesome bagels, sandwiches, salads and coffee. This location was on par with what I’ve experienced before. I usually get coffee and a bagel or bagel sandwich. They were fast and polite here. The location is clean and fairly large, lots of seats for sitting and getting some work done. They also have a cute little fireplace that comes in handy during the wintertime I bet!
