A quaint, über stylish shop that specializes in dress rentals, from high style to out right couture.
They also rent some accessories, do makeup and hair styling. Its swank looking and feeling but the prices are VERY accessible and the owner Antoinette is very helpful and personable.
Here’s the problem: After initially visiting her store, I wrote her two emails to the address on her business card, I received no reply. I then went to her store during normal business hours and she was closed. The kind lady at the neighboring antique store told me she had unpredictable hours and would now only open by appointment. It would be nice if there was something on shop’s door indicating this.
So I called her on a Friday and made arrangements to meet on a Monday to rent several outfits for a shoot (I am a pro photographer). Antoinette was a no show. I waited and waited, but had to get to a shoot that cost over $ 600 to stage. But I had no dresses.
She called me back about an hour alter apologizing offering me a «free rental» WOW! Thanks! Too late. I had to be at my shoot and literally had to buy clothes from Macy’s to make this work taht took up all my profit from the job
Don’t open a store and run it like a hobby. I don’t think this place will last much longer.
