These guys know EVERYTHING and it’s very easy to get them to help you. Since moving to this neighborhood, I have gone to this True Value a lot. Even though I am totally clueless usually, they are never condescending and are in general very nice people. The store is well stocked, clean, and the guys in the shop are professional and prompt. It’s weird to say this but it really feels like a community in there.

Everything you’d expect from a good local hardware. Small, friendly, has what you need at a fair price. If you’re a do-​it-​yourself type (or like to think that you are), Denver True Value will have what you need.

This mom and pop hardware store always pleasantly surprises me. The latest trip here I was in need of some lawn mower replacment parts, some sand and a few bolts. All of which they easily had in stock, at the ready and for a decent price. I typically try this place before heading to one of the national home improvement chains. They are also closer to home than any of those places, so it’s hard not to try them first.
The service has been good each time I’ve been here. I’ve also had keys made here that worked flawlessly on the first try. I you live in this neighborhood, please stop by if only to check out the outdoor gardening supplies.

Great storem ehlpful staff, they go beyond to insure paint mix is right. HAve a good selection of what you need, first place I stop to buy hardware.

I must say, I do love a good small business. Denver True Value, like my other favorite neighborhood hardware store, is probably one tenth the size of a small Home Depot. Still, somehow I always seem to find exactly what I need.
Additionally, unlike the Home Depot, I never find myself in there wandering around like an idiot while employees give me a vacant look, then just keep on cruisin’ without a inkling of desire to assist. Nope, the staff at here are knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to lend a hand.
