So, I work close to this location and love me a good sammich so this place gets a lot of biz from me. However the people that work there are fucking worthless. I usually order a medium sub with extra meat and it always happens that I get back to the office and find that they’ve forgotten to add the extra meat. I’m not one to call a place back and complain so I’ve let it slide many times. Today was the last straw and the reason I’m writing this. People behind the counter just don’t give a fuck and take no pride in what they do. I understand you make sandwiches for a living but jeeesus, if you can’t even do that well, what hope will you ever have in this world. Today, on my way out, I even asked the dude behind the counter if he added the extra meat and he said«Well, I cut the salame a little thick today so it should be good.» Seriously, fuck that guy. I’ll go to Snarf’s from now on…

Good place. They have a solid menu of basic sandwiches plus another list of some non-traditional sammies they’ve made up. I really enjoyed my sandwich and thought it was a good value. They also offer a selection of breakfast sandwiches. They have salads too… I think.

Brilliant breakfast sandwich, «The Kong.» It is always a great way to start a morning with hashbrowns inside of a great bun. Well done Deli Zone! I was delighted to find this location.

The food here is good. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to get actual food here because the owner/manager refuses to keep the equipment in working order. The door was broken for months but FINALLY got fixed. The grill and the sandwich toaster rarely work. I always feel sorry for the employees who have to work in such deplorable conditions. I can’t imagine how frustrating it is for them to have to constantly explain to the customers that their equipment isn’t working. There are way too many other options downtown. I doubt that I’ll ever go back.

I was highly disappointed with this deli I ordered a pastrami sandwich on rye bread that young lady said that it was 4 ounces of meat it was more like 1 ounce with just a lot of mayonnaise and mustard my recommendation constructive criticism call it what you want if you were going to advertise yourself as a New York deli represent with a bigger and better sandwich

The location is convenient but the food is just okay. It’s greasy and the place isn’t so clean, but it’s fine in a pinch. It was a good excuse to get out of the office for a minute but I’ll probably just call Jimmy John’s next time.

Convenient location near my office. Was craving a sandwich this week and turned to Unilocal to research a new option. I was initially disappointed to learn this was a chain but after reading the reviews for the egg and cheese I decided to try. That is exactly what I ordered egg and cheese on a kaiser roll. Being from the east coast I take this combo seriously. The sandwich is cooked fresh and is well priced. I devoured every bite. When I need a breakfast sandwich fix this will be on my shortlist of places to go.

What I had? Pastrami with Swiss Cheese and Spicy Dijon Mustard served on Marble Rye bread Food review: I haven’t been to Deli Zone in a while so decided to give it a visit. I was pleasantly reminded that why it’s good to continue coming back. Their Pastrami sandwich is one of the few in town that is crazy good. The pastrami nice and moist which is essential. Combine that with melted swiss cheese and spicy dijon mustard all on some nice marble rye bread(you need to request to have it on marble rye. fyi. I recommend you do so though) and mwah! You get one of my favorite pastrami sandwiches in town. Service? No complaints

anytime bacon is put together with an egg, topped off with some cheese and smushed together by a bagel… it’s always yummy. …and that’s exactly what i had for breakfast this morning, and YUM! cheap & affordable. friendly & nice. just plain delicious :)

Picked up a large Philly Cheesesteaks sandwich from Deli Zone before going to see the Rockies versus my World Series Champs, the Giants. By the time we got to our seats the sandwich was still warm. The sandwich was full of meat and very tasty. We split the sandwich for 2 of us and we were full after finishing the sandwich. If we ever come back to see a Giants and Rockies game again, we’lI be back to the Deli Zone for another sandwich. We will have to try their other sandwiches.

This place is okay. Not bad for a basic deli place. The only reason I have give Deli Zone a 2 star versus a 3 is that the place was incredibly messy and felt very dirty. The counters look like they have never even been cleaned! Also, the place reminded me a bit like my college cafeteria, which is never a good thing. Besides that, the sandwiches are good for a «basic» deli sandwich. The price isn’t bad either. Don’t expect a gourmet sub here, but you can still get a good sandwich.

Yummo! Decided to grab lunch with a friend before going back to work. The regular sandwich was huge, why would you ever need a large. I got a turkey club on wheat and it was fresh and very tasty. They have a lot of great signature sandwiches that I am looking forward to try. Decent service and good food. If your in the area I recommend stopping by for a bite.

Great for a quick bite, but the entire ordering process is tough. They don’t do names, so you’re listening for your sammich, which any of the other 40 people could have ordered, so it’s like a mad dash. It’s a nice easy to get to location tho so it’s a win/win for fast and conveneient

so this review is strictly for the egg sammy. a lot of people including myself have been looking for a NY style fried egg sandwich. i odered 3 eggs, bacon, cheese, which is the standard egg sandwich of NY. i should have ordered it on a hero, but it came on a kaiser roll w/the poppy seeds, the roll was just ok too soft but a lot better than most places out here. the rest of the sandwich was very good.

Good fast inexpensive lunch food, sandwiches are fresh and the staff are attentive as well. They have sandwiches, chips and soup. Not sure what else, but from what I’ve had it’s been pretty good.

Why do you do this to me Deli Zone? Why do you make me have to agree with everyone in here that you have spent the last two years digging your own delicious grave? The sandwiches always speak for themselves. Unfortunately, the staff do as well. Here’s where they need to fix themselves before the downtown market finally kills DZ once and for all. –The service(it really does suck as bad as everyone in here says) –A 42″ flat screen in a closet-sized space that the already crappy employees are picking what to watch on(uhhh, the service sucks enough already, don’t distract your employees even more. Besides, you are a DELI, not a sports bar. People go to a deli for a quick lunch, or in your case breakfast also. They aren’t there to sit for long enough to watch a football game, but unfortunaltely thanks to your staff, they are in there long enough to watch a game). –Don’t give people a taste of the wonder known as the Strong Island at your Boulder locations and then deny them its beauty in Denver. We are, if you haven’t noticed, a much larger market. Not just that, but the«we can’t get the sauce» excuse sucks. I will drive to Boulder and get you a bottle if you’ll keep it behind the counter just for me. I love your sandwiches DZ, but get your act together.

Deli Zone is the closest sandwich shop to my office, and since it’s freezing outside today, I decided to give it a try. I ordered two hot items(again, it’s freezing out there) a tuna melt and broccoli cheese soup. The Good: — the staff was friendly — there was a small line but it went really fast — the tuna was good The Bad: — Pretty expensive sandwich, cup of soup and drink was $ 13 The Ugly: — I saw them microwave my soup and even then it wasn’t hot. I mean it was so cold I think it must of come straight from the fridge — They gave me a regular tuna sandwich and not a melt(i.e. it’s also COLD) I’m pretty bummed that I got back to my office and found that I hadn’t gotten what I wanted. I don’t think I’ll go back any time soon.

I had never eaten Deli Zone before and my girlfriend said they have awesome breakfast so she went and got some. She surprised me with a Baby Kong(Sausage, Eggs and Hash Browns with American Cheese on a kaiser roll). Since I dont eat chicken abortions she got mine without. The guys gave me extra sausage and hash browns which never happens! We also got a side of Franks Red Hot which made everything taste even better, I highly recommend it. This was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had, it will be really hard to go to Moes bagels anymore.

Any place that measures the size of their sandwiches by the number of eggs, is alright in my book. I went here for lunch today at the recommendation of a friend who wouldn’t stop going on about their breakfast sandwiches. I ended up getting a steak and egg sub from their breakfast menu. wow. it’s was pretty awesome. a huge sub loaded up with sliced sirloin steak, eggs, and a healthy amount of mayo and hot sauce. Probably the best sandwich I’ve had this month. Like other reviewers have noted, the bread was at just the right amount of crispy-ness. Toasted enough to give you a satisfying crunch, but still soft on the inside. I’ll definitely be going back for some of their other sandwiches.
