I’m giving two stars only because this location used to be good, my visit yesterday left a lot to be desired. To begin with, the store itself is dingy– borderline dirty. I should have followed my gut and left immediately but my boyfriend and I were hungry. The sandwiches were both supposed to be toasted but we’re cold, the extras I asked for were not put on my sandwich(yet I was charged for it). My boyfriend’s stomach has been off since eating his rueben sandwich(24 hours later). I suggest finding another sandwich shop!

Is it just me or does this place smell like a giant toilet. The first time I thought maybe it was a broken pipe in the street… gave them the benefit of the doubt. Second time here it smelled the same. I just can’t order food from a place that smells that nasty.

DISGUSTING. I got a Manhattan sandwich and potato salad delivered to my office today, both of which were awful. The sandwich was entirely grease-soaked through the overly-thin sliced sourdough bread. Still, I was starving, so took a bite… and immediately spit it out. It simply didn’t taste good, and was cold, too. I felt like I was being fed a crappy lunch back in elementary school. The potato salad might as well have been potatoes simply tossed in mustard. It was overpowering and intense in the worst possible way. It wasn’t just me, either… My entire office ordered sandwiches, wraps, and salads, and every single lunch I saw left a LOT to be desired. We’ll never order from here again – NEVER. Just yuck.

I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s gone downhill fast. Customer service is nonexistent, the last 3 times I’ve gone in, the bathrooms haven’t had soap or paper towels. Food is ok but not worth it.

Not a bad hangover breakfast sandwich I guess, otherwise no reason to eat here. Ordered a French dip which arrived late and it was almost cold with a burnt bun. Lesson learned, I will not be back.

Food is great. It’s very overpriced for the portion. So once a quarter when I can afford to come here it’s always a consistent experience. I’m always greeted by somebody who looks dirty and high. They seem friendly enough until i put a zero on the tip line(for somebody who makes a sandwich) Then it’s just a dirty look and a 15 minute wait. perhaps they’re part of McDonald’s Movement that think they deserve $ 15 an hour. Then I realize it’s not only the price that keeps me away.

I ordered lunch from this place for the first time because it was nearby and had a list of sandwiches I liked. I ordered a French Dip with chips and a drink. First off — the chips and the drink were not was I ordered, and I used Grub Hub so I know there was no miscommunication between was I might have said over the phone. Secondly, the sandwich, which only took maybe 20 minutes to get to my house, was lukewarm and very bland. Not a very good first impression.

Just had Deli Zone delivered to the office and it was absolutely delicious. The delivery didn’t take long and a medium sandwich is enough to feed 2 people, huge! The Rasta Turkey sandwich is where it’s at!

The turkey rasta sandwich is really yummy but the order took 25 min longer to get here than they said it would and my soda was warm with no ice and had spilled over everything, both sandwiches were covered. Then the guy didn’t bring any napkins no straw, nothing. Would eat here again but I would go to the restaurant and not monkey with delivery again.

Thanks for the service Deli Zone– I ordered online for delivery(double checked I was in the delivery area) and they called and said I wasn’t. I apologized for the inconvenience and said no worries I could order from somewhere in the area. They agreed to make an exception this one time and delivered any way. The guy who came to the door was absolutely rude. Again I apologized and thanked him for going out of his way, I handed him a $ 20(for an $ 11 order) he took it without a word and stormed off. You’re welcome by the way…

Only reason this gets two stars is the fact that the driver was friendly. However… our food arrived stone cold, soup as well. And he forgot our chips and drinks. What the hell? I will not be ordering again. Receiving cold grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup is terrible.

So good. I go here all the time and they consistently make quality sandwiches. They’re friendly, helpful and quick. I recommend the Manhatten because it’s got veggies and meat.

I was really dissappointed. This may have been the most mediocre sandwhich I ever had. I dont think the ingredients were the problem. The staff appeared to be somewhat stoned and extremely uninterested in doing better than a halfway decent job. Stay away

I’m from out of town and was just passing through to stop by Denver University but thought is grab a bite first at Deli Zone. I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. The service was excellent(very nice crew that interact well with you, and each other, which says a lot) and the food was amazing. I ordered some kind of veggie sandwich and it was amazing. It’s hard these days to find a good veggie option that tastes new and delicious-but I found it here! If you buy a bottle of water they have a coupon for when you come back… Overall I loved it and when I find myself in this neck of the woods in Denver again I’ll make it a point to stop by.

Breakfast burrito was good but you guys should make your own green chili.

The food is decent and the service isn’t bad. Their large sandwiches are enough for lunch and dinner. Their breakfast sandwiches leave something to be desired(bland and mostly bread). Biggest problem: It’s always a gamble whether they’ll be out of bread – 3 times and counting.

I decided to order from Deli Zone via GrubHub. I scored a $ 5 credit from GrubHub on Facebook and decided to use it to try something new near work. I didn’t want to spend a crazy amount of money on lunch, so I figured the sandwich route was a safe bet. Deli Zone has some pretty mixed reviews, but I wanted to give it a try anyway. I decided to order the Turkey Avocado Lunchbox. «Medium sandwich served with chips and a drink. Turkey, bacon, avocado, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. Served on your choice of bread.». This is one of my go-to sandwich when the sandwich craving hits. I was a bit baffled when I placed my order and it had a 1+ hour delivery window. I thought that was a little crazy for a delivery time frame on a sandwich order, but I had already committed. The downfall to ordering online is they charge a $ 2 delivery fee. I ended up spending $ 5 alone on the delivery fee and tip. However, my $ 5 credit helped alleviate that charge. As another Unilocaler stated, there is a minimum $ 10 delivery fee and my $ 9.99 lunchbox didn’t cut the cake. So I had to order a $ 0.99 cup of potato salad to get about the $ 10 mark. I will say, that is a bummer that it will not let you order for delivery with just $ 0.01 remaining. The delivery driver ended up having to call me because they could not find the place. After I directed them on how to get where I was, they were here in under a minute. They actually delivered the food in 25 minutes and not the 1+ hour time frame quoted, score! The driver told me next time to put the name of the building in the delivery directions so they could find the place. I actually had, but apparently that information did not make it through. GrubHub is a third-party website so maybe it was lost in translation. The timing of the delivery was perfect! It arrived just before my lunch. I snapped a few Unilocal worthy photos and dug into my sandwich. To my horror it was dry. I questioned whether the sandwich actually had mayo included with it and if I had made a grave mistake. So I checked my phone and sure enough, mayo is *supposed* to be on the sandwich. So I got to enjoy a dry sandwich. They did skimp on the avocado, 4 small slices on the entire sandwich. Had they included more avocado the sandwich might not have been quite so dry. There was plenty of lettuce, tomato, and turkey. They just skimped on the bacon, avocado, and mayo. I love mayo. We are soul-mates. This poor sandwich desperately needed a condiment of some sort. I decided to eat the potato salad that I involuntarily had to purchase. I dislike bell peppers with a passion. Unfortunately, there were bell peppers in the potato salad, but they were large enough for me to pick out. The potatoes seemed a little crunchy for potato salad, like they weren’t fully cooked. I was excited to receive Boulder Canyon Jalapeño Cheddar chips. GrubHub didn’t give me an option to chose my drink or chip flavor for the lunchbox. So I put my preferences in the comment section and hoped for the best. In all honesty, the sandwich would have been decent had it included mayo as promised. I was impressed with the delivery turn around time and customer service was decent. Deli Zone is about 3 stars, but I had to give them 2 stars for giving me a dry sandwich. I might give them a try again some other time, but I might actually drive over there instead.

I used Grub Hub services to find a nearby sandwich shop that delivers, and I was directed towards Deli Zone. I ordered two medium sized French Dips on French bread. With delivery charge and tip, it cost me about $ 20.00. What I received from Deli Zone was no where near worth $ 20! There was no meat! Basically I paid for just french bread and au jus. The bread was nice and toasty and the au jus had a great flavor, however that does not compensate for skimping on the meat. This was my first time ordering from Deli Zone and I will NOT be ordering from them ever again.

Okay. I am looking down at my to-go order that I just got. I ordered the Cold Cross Island lunch box for delivery. Since it’s$ 9.99, it wouldn’t let me order just that for delivery, since it has to be «above 10.» With tax, it absolutely is. Had to add more food. Strike one. Asked for no tomato, received a sandwich with lots of tomato, one slice of avocado, and no cucumber. Strike two. The drink. Was half. Drunk. That or they just filled it halfway? Either way, what? Strike three. Not worth my $ 15.

Good for a bit every now and then. I usually get their french dip, as there’s really no place else in the area where you can get a decent one. One problem I have with this place is the pricing… it’s a little much for what I’m getting. There used to be a Quizno’s nearby I would frequent for their french dip, as it was worth the money. Shame that it’s gone. The last time I was in, they were a little slow making my sandwich and when they finished it, it was left sitting there without anyone noticing it was done and picking it up(they almost made another one because they didn’t even know it was done). As a result, I got home with a pretty stone cold french dip sandwich. Yuck. Still, the guys that seem to own this place are nice and courteous, and it’s good to have a more local sub shop with Fatjack’s pretty far away. Worth checking out to see if it’s your style and if you think it’s worth your money. Give em a shot.
