We really enjoy the place. The bartenders are friendly, they have the delicious fancy popcorn, and their patio is baller in the summer. I am also a big fan of their t-shirts. Parking is easy, and we have always found a place to sit. I would opt out for their trivia though… wasn’t the biggest fan of the MC and it was one of those situations where a lot of the questions she asked had multiple answers but there was only one answer according to her. I don’t know who makes up the questions but I would probably stick with a ‘geeks who drink’ trivia. Other than that… very cool bar/brewery!

Declaration is a great addition to the neighborhood! Fun, snowboard themed décor(MFM is an owner so no surprise.) Pros — Great outdoor space. –Good food truck food option — Great selection of well crafted beer –Friendly and knowledgable staff –Lots of games(indoor and out) Cons –Beer is a little expensive(for the area.) –Happy hour is 3:00pm –5:00pm, not terribly convenient, but I could be wrong on exact timing. I would give 5 stars if the HH was longer or a little later. That beingI highly recommend Declaration and wish them great success!

Declaration is a nice little brewery located in the industrial area near Evans and Santa Fe. They have a great choice of beers, there are usually 10 – 12 on tap. My favorite so far has been the Strawberry Wheat. I’m usually not a huge Wheat beer drinker but this is the perfect summer beer. It’s a little different than a regular wheat, and unique enough that you want to go back for more(or buy a 6 pack like I did). Their other beers consist of everything from IPAs to barrel aged stouts and sours. They allow dogs in their tasting room, and have a nice patio area with a small grass yard. Unfortunately we’ve only been during the winter so far, so hopefully we have a chance to stop by again in the summer and enjoy the sunshine while sipping on a beer.

Fantastic beers… And an awesome patio space. Was impressed at the sheer amount of selection of innovative beers on tap. Loved the Oatmeal IPA and strawberry wheat. Husband loved the man bear Porter and Scottish strong ale. Had a good amount of bike parking. Good vibe, and will definitely be back.

Growing local brewery with an interesting selection of *high* ABV beers. Good: * I loved every beer I tried, even the extremely high(9% and up) ones. Beers were well balanced and extremely flavorful. * Loved their porter(ManBearPorter) on nitro. Bad: * Odd location. Not convenient to walk their from other food, drink, or nightlife spots on S. Broadway. * High growler fill prices. Summary: Great local brewery that I’ll definitely visit again, though it would take more reasonable growler prices for me to be a regular.

Hubs loved the Bus Stout. We were there yesterday at 2:15(they open at 2:00 during the week) and it was happy hour which was 25% off pints(does not apply to flights.) There are lots of games to play– we played Scrabble and some other mini bar games– as well as a large patio with garage doors. It’s pet friendly and has plenty of beer choices for all tastes. Definitely check this one out!

Love their list of beers. The coffee porter was incredible. Too many IPA’s in my opinion, but it isn’t a huge deal. Favorite Brewery of the year so far. Our flight of beers was a little pricey, so next time we will need to split the bill!

The beer here sucks/the staff is excellent and the location is sweet but the beer is terrible /the sheer number of good reviews on here is testament to the ridiculous number of people who have no clue what good beer is.

5 stars. Really. From me. Yes! From the moment we parked… …to the moment we left… …to the telling everyone about this place… …I smiled. That is 5 stars Oh, and our puppy was welcome. Breweries need(NEED) to be dog friendly. This is Colorado… take notice you grumpy, non-friendly places. And beer… almost(almost) too many choices. Every one I tasted was superb. I do not like IPA’s and this place had a ton of choices. I will be back… so far from my house… …hopefully soon.

I stopped here with a friend after a yoga class on 11÷13÷15. It is a really large place with a lot of seating and a great outdoor space. Due to the snow and cold we sat inside. The beer selection was impressive as I believe they had around 12 beers on tap. I got the Man Bear Porter and it was delicious. One of the best beers I’ve had in a while. I will definitely be back here soon.

Came here for a few drinks with the guys, and had a pretty good time overall. The entire place is clean, done up, organized, and looks great. Thumbs up for having a brewery that doesn’t smell weird like so many others do. Staff was really nice, but a couple of them seemed to be new and a bit flustered as the crowd grew. Not really a big deal though. The beers were so-so. I liked the Saison and the Copper Ale wasn’t bad, but the others I tried(cannot recall the names) weren’t that good. I’ll be back though, I liked it.

Went here last night for the first time. Looked like a great patio but a Sunday night DJ was a bit odd… Ended up sitting inside because of it. I had the wild berry saison and the strawberry wheat. Both solid. The saison was delicious — flavorful, strong, smooth. The strawberry wheat was good for a wheat but very weak strawberry flavor. Beers ranged from $ 5-$ 7. Open seating, cool atmosphere.

I have had some great beer in my life. I’ve had the misfortune of drinking piss beer before. When I heard about Declaration Brewery, I began to over hype the idea in my mind. When I got there I felt a little let down by location of the place(hard to find, no restaurant near by, business district feel) but the patio and inside was well taken care of and had a good feel. Plus all the board, and unique mini table games made the place feel clean, bright, and comfortable. Now about the beer, the service and presentation was anything but unique, which could say many things about them. After the first sip it was easy to understand. This company does not need fancy glasses or new themes to stand out. This was some of the BEST beer I have had in a while. Just all around well balanced clean and in a lack of better words Delicious. Well done Declaration Brewery, well done. I hope to see you in the Big Leagues.

Finally an amazing brewery on the south side of town! I have been waiting for three years to find a place that a true beer lover in South Denver can go to enjoy a beer, Declaration is it. The first time we came in was about a week after it opened, we have been back every two weeks or so since then. They have a ton of beer on tap — usually about 12 beers all their own — but these aren’t just the standards. Declaration has a unique selection of beer, this summer they played with a of fruit flavors, the wildberry saison was delicious. I spend a lot of time going to breweries in the Highlands, Rino, and Downtown, and I would highly encourage people to come to the South side of town and try Declaration!

I’ve been to Declaration twice now. Most recently, I came before a Rakim concert at Herman’s Hideaway. Declaration was having a pre-show party where they offered discounts on beers and played all of Rakim’s jams. They even had one of the opening acts at the brewery for pre-concert show. Pretty neat. We had a pretty awesome time. It got us pretty pumped up for the show. I really like Declaration. I am not like over-the-top crazy about their beer, but I have had some pretty solid beers here that are enough to keep coming coming back. Plus, they are wicked close to my place. My personal favorite beer at Declaration is the Wildberry Saison. Typically I am not a Saison person, but this saison bursts with fruity flavors and is pretty smooth. I particularly like the layout of Declaration. They have a great, big patio that is extremely dog-friendly. I brought our furry friend and he just was as happy as can be laying in their grassy area. The grassy area has a cornhole set and a ping pong table, so lots of fun activities to partake in while drinking. I will definitely be returning to Declaration with my little furry sidekick here soon!

I really love Declaration. Their space, furniture, bathrooms, are all very nice and clean. Their beer is delicious. Whether you like light or dark beer, you will have plenty of options. My favorite is the Quad. Its fantastic, but more than one can get you into trouble!

This is a new brewery in Denver and a great addition to the area. It has a great outside area with plenty of seating. It is family and pooch friendly. They have various food trucks through the week. Now the good part… a great selection of beers. I quite like the Kolsch, Purloin Pale Ale and the In Session IPA. The bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their products. This is one of my go to breweries and well worth a visit.

Two new breweries opening in Denver on the same day? Yes, please. Although we did not manage to make it down on the 14th, we did a stroll in on the 15th of February. This brewery is simultaneously somewhat hidden and very easy to get to. It is just a couple blocks East and North from the intersection of Santa Fe and Evans, and is even easily walkable from light rail. The interior of this taproom is tasteful and beautiful(and even has a Jacobs ladder above the taps). The large patio outside is also well thought out. It even has room for two food trucks. One of the two owners, Mike, was very friendly and gladly gave us a tour of the production facilities in the back. 30 barrel systems as far as the eye could see greeted us as we stood there in shock and awe. I don’t believe I have ever seen a new brewery with such future capability. Mike has a hardcore science background and parts of this shiny facility resemble the workshop of a mad scientist. There is even a future VIP loft area in the back, with a flatscreen TV on deck. As for the beer, we tried a little of everything. I did not dislike anything, but I also did not easily identify my initial favorite like I usually do. I kind of feel like this first run of beers is well-made and smart, but still has room for improvement from the heart and soul perspective. If I had to pick a favorite for now, I would probably go with the Kolsch.

How fun and chill was this place?! I had a very enjoyable experience at the bar sampling a full flight of the 9 beers they had available on their opening weekend. They have a couple more brews in the works, more IPAs and hoppy from what we were told, so those should be coming to add to the options. It looked like they had a lot of taps, so they are expecting a very large beer menu it seems! They’ll need to work out the beer listing as, although we were seated near them, the beers being only listed on skateboards on the wall in a different order than served is not ideal. But, the brews were rather tasty for sure! My favorites were Peg, a strawberry wheat and Electric Silk, an oatmeal IPA. I menu on each table and some along the bar are needed for sure. The joint is comfortable with kids and dogs prevalent(bring your allergy meds) and a welcoming vibe. There is a balance of masculine and feminine energy, which is rare in these beardo dominated beer scenes. So that is nice. The bar and table tops are a slick stone and the lighting and layout all seems to have been designed well. I think the place will really take off once their patio is popping. They have juices, sodas, pretzels, and a food truck so they appear to be ready for the crowds. We chatted with a couple of the employees and it was a great introduction. I expect this place will become super popular, I hope they stay cool!

After much anticipation Declaration Brewing Company is finally open! I have been liking them on Facebook for what seems to be a better part of a year seeing renderings of what the actual brewery and beer patio were going to look like and the design has finally come to life! I stopped in around 2:00 this past Sunday and was delighted by the beautiful design, comfortable setting and overall good vibe. My lady and I slid up to the bar and were served a 9 beer sampler all of which had great flavor and were very well balanced for a brand new brewery. Favorites were the scotch ale, and Trippel. Of course there were a few little issues that come with being new(need a list along with the sampler and have your wait staff designated to a specific area) but the crowd seemed to be happy, the staff was friendly and attentive and the beers were on point. Overall, I think this is a great new addition to the neighborhood and I’m certain when the weather gets back to great that beer garden is going to be amazing! I highly recommend anyone in the area to hit them up.
