The staff here treats my autistic son like a King every time. He says, «Crown Lanes, Dad.» I say, «You got it Jackson!» Great people! They get it! Crown Lanes!

GREAT bowling where you’re on a budget! I highly recommend this alley, especially for their cosmic bowling at night! Great prices all around for bowling, food and drinks.

Before the days of Lucky Strike and fancy hipster hangouts, this is what real bowling alleys were like. Fun fact: As an alternate to the regular gym class in high school, I learned to bowl at dark, smoky alley much like Crown Lanes. Crown Lanes is an upgrade from Eldorado Bowl in Decatur, IL, but they do remind me of each other for the sheer simplicity and novelty. Come as you are, rent a lane or two and pick out a pair of velcro shoes. Don’t forget the socks because these particular gems look like they’re about 25 years old. Not my favorite part of the bowling experience. Bowling is fun though. Crown Lanes is family friendly, though they do not offer bumpers for lanes. They do offer the steering guide for little tykes. And if you’re an especially bad adult bowler, you could use it too. Total damage for two bowlers and two round of bowling? $ 20, maybe? It was very cheap. But hey, there’s nothing fancy here. Just some athletic(ish) entertainment, pitchers of beer and nachos with the neon cheese. A-OK by my standards.

The bar is super cheap! Pool tables and juke box present. If we go for bowling it’s usually for«cosmic» bowling which is super popular and the price seems to be going up. It is a very popular event for high school kids so it tends to be extremely busy. There is a DJ that tends to play pretty awful music. To be honest I don’t know why we go for cosmic bowling :/hahaha

This place is a piece of shit! I called yesterday and asked if they had open bowling on Tuesdays«yes we have a few lanes open till 9». I call today a half hour before we head down«yes we have lanes open until 7». We rush down there, takes a half and hour to get there and they tell us at 5:50, sorry we closed the lanes to the public. Go to amf belleview! They are so amazing! Friendly staff, great food and do their best to make a lane for you!

This place is great. It’s clean and has nice customer service. Only problem is there no bumpers for younger bowlers. We didn’t try the food but everything else was good.

Great classic bowling alley, aka The Big Lebowski. $ 7.50 pitchers of PBR so get your hipster friends in here and have some Glow Zone bowling!

Now, I love bowling just as everyone else. Crown lanes advertises late hours but has twice closed their doors at least an hour before 12-their advertised closing time. They say they don’t get busy enough but perhaps passerby’s would be able to find this place if the sign were lit up for once. Tucked away in a shady strip mall it’s not very inviting from the outside. Not sure why they keep insisting on cramping everyone by putting you right on between two other used lanes… Can’t go wrong with their pitchers of beer which you can’t sit and drink at your lane… OK so this place SUCKS. BUT if you just want to roll n drink for cheap — there you go. PS — ladies roll free on Wednesdays: prolly the only night worth going.

If I could, I would rate this place a 0. Very rude staff, bad food, and bad bowling alleys. We got a bowling alley that we couldn’t even enter our names in and the guy working just said«yeah they’re broken.» Bad service, a bad atmosphere, and overall a terrible experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Fun place to have a birthday celebration! Service was good, drinks weren’t too pricey and we were able to get two lanes for our group. I may possibly be the world’s worst bowler but I still had fun here! It’s cheap too, $ 6.50 for one game with shoes. In a sketchy part of town but most bowling alleys are, right?

We love this bowling alley!!! the food is delicious and is super clean!!! Breakfast and bowl on weekends is tons of fun, and cheap. We bowl a League on Friday nights, and it is well organized and they take care of their league bowlers :)

I went bowling here yesterday for their weekend special(3 games, shoes, and breakfast for $ 12). It was a great experience. They offer a variety of breakfast options. I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage. It was smothered in green chili with lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. It was delicious and more than I was able to eat. We had a great time for an affordable price. Games are usually $ 3.50 so this deal was a real steal. Make sure you go to Crown Lanes during one of their specials to get these great deals.

This place is great! Nothing fancy just straight up bowling! the food is not so good, but thats not what you really come to a bowling alley for any ways. I got the overpriced $ 10 pizza which is just a red baron pizza not worth the money. Drinks at the bar are priced fine. And the bartenders are always friendly. They have great deals on bowling games and wednesday night ladies bowl free!

Crown Lanes is everything that a bowling alley should be. It’s not fancy and flashy with ridiculous flashing lights and horrid neon balls. This is the type of place that my grandpa would have been bowling at forty years ago. Actually, it is a place that my grandpa bowled at forty years ago. They have good prices and great specials ordinarily, but the women behind the desk just told me that they are offering $ 1 games all summer long, so… well… go bowling.

I do enjoy me some Crown Lanes bowling action. It has the nostalgic feel of an old school bowling alley with pretty comprable prices. I have gone to almost every bowling alley in the Denver metro area and this alway hits on the top of my list. The alleys are decently oiled, the price of beer pitchers are fairly inexpensive and there usually isn’t an issue getting a lane. Go here and roll a couple games, and hey while your out that way hit Saigon Bowl for a tasty treat!!!

I’m all about the kind of alley the Dude and Walter would frequent-non-flashy, straight forward lanes, a nice bar to take a break and enjoy a «beverage, man», and some greasy food to keep you full. Crown Lanes is that place! Awesome old school flair from it’s sign on Federal to the place itself. You can bowl two games and rent shoes on a Friday night for $ 9, which is very hard to beat. If you go to one of those«family fun centers» that are popping up, it would undoubtedly be higher. Shoes are velcro, meaning no tripping over laces(it hasn’t happened to me yet but I’m waiting for it). There’s a variety of ball sizes and weights and it’s not hard at all to find one that works for you. The scoring system is accurate and even includes some sweet animations! The bar is also classic. It’s in it’s own room with TVs, pool tables, and if I remember correctly, even some darts. You can actually catch locals to the area there, so it looks like it’s one of the places people come to even if they’re not bowling. The bartender was a really nice guy and helpful too. You’ve also got your share of greasy food that you can order and have them bring to you. Om nom nom! F**k it dude. Let’s go bowling.
