The customer service here has always been mediocre, unprofessional, more or less a living joke. This location doesn’t even provide a variety of phones to choose from. The purchase list is so minimal and half the time, the staff is undergoing some training issues with their customer service skills. They have absolutely no knowledge of what they have in stock, inventory, or where the phones can be purchased from. The only thing good about this location is whether or not you can accurately pay off your phone bills here. I cannot stress it enough how hectic the service is! Most of the employees are a bunch of high school aged teenagers who stand around to gossip, give dirty looks, and screw around since customers hardly walk in. No, this isn’t a primary location to buy a phone directly. It’s only a place where people pay off their bills, buy ultimately expensive phone cases, Chargers and etc. every time I needed to purchase something, the nasty attitude and tones of these employees makes me want to punch them in their faces. Don’t come to this location. End of story.

ZERO if I could… If you’re going to hire someone, please make sure they can perform the job they were hired to do and do it correctly. I get a headache every time I go in this place. They can never figure out what I need or want fixed. All they do is try to change my plan or sell me unlimited calling to Mexico. I don’t know anyone in Mexico. It is always teenaged girls working who are either texting while they are trying to «help» you or they won’t attend you until after they have pressed«send» on their text message. When I initially went in there to get my first phone and new service, it took 10 days for them to port my phone and have it up and running. After several visits, on the 10th day another worker called me and said that the worker who was initially setting me up forgot to process the activation or payment and that is why I did not have service. Basic stuff. I went in there this past February, wanting to buy a Galaxy phone for my wife. I went in there and asked the one girl working if they had any in stock and she said, «No, we sold out in November.» I was asking this in February. Then I asked her when she thought they would get more in stock and she said She did not know, probably whenever her supervisor gets around to it. Instead of trying to make sense of what she said or further investigate it, I just thanked her for nothing and left. I went to the Aurora store on Mississippi and Abilene and they had what I needed plus helpful staff that actually knew what they were doing. Gasp! Imagine that. I shared my experience with the clerk and she could not believe how moronic the workers are at the GVR store. She said the GVR store is an independent franchise. I don’t think that excuses stupidity. I am not reviewing Cricket’s actual cell service, that’s decent, just this particular store’s customer service.
