I bought a haircut here through living social, or maybe groupon. I needed a haircut and had no money. I read the reviews and people say Shantel is great with cutting curly hair; I have curly hair so I was glad to find someone with this skill set. However, she managed to cut the left side of my hair 2 inches shorter than the right side as well as create very choppy, very uneven layers all over. I had to go to Ft. Morgan, CO where I grew up, as haircuts are about 1⁄3 the price there as they are in Denver. The lady in Ft. Morgan who fixed my hair was amazing and was totally baffled at how bad my haircut was. She cut my hair for about $ 15, not including the tip. Never ever go to Clayton’s!

My boyfriend introduced me to this place several years ago, he has been going there for over 8 years and loves it. Shantel is the proprietor and talented hair stylist. The salon is slightly hidden behind the art gallery and you’d have to walk up a narrow stairway to find the salon. The service is amazing at a reasonable price for Cherry Creek standards. I had a birthday surprise hair cut appointment and permed and cut my hair, the results were awesome. Though it took some friends time to adjust to my permed hair, it was a welcoming change. Check it out for yourself!
