City Lofts

The ladies up front are amazing and very helpful. We loved living in Unit 1D. Plenty of room for our two boxers to stretch out. Great location near 16^th Street Mall, sad to move. Pet friendly. The loft is very modern, we got compliments from all our guests on the style (exposed brick and ductwork). The garage is conveniently located underground, pulling in from the alley may be a challenge in a long vehicle, but we had a small car. Very affordable for the location. No problems with the AC unit/​heater or utilities. Would highly recommend to friends!
Not sure about the first reviewer in 2013, but our sink didn’t clog on the 1^st floor in 1D. The shower drain clogged once from my wife’s hair, but drano fixed that.

Wow. Probably one of the worst places I’ve ever lived. (And that’s saying a lot, because I’ve lived in mud huts, in hammocks in the jungle, in foxholes in the desert, etc.) I’d have been happier back in Iraq.
My pipes backed up and overflowed my kitchen sink three times during the 3 years I lived there. The plumbers who came explained every time it was because of the nature of the original design of plumbing there, (it had never been upgraded) and any time someone above the first floor (where I was) dumped something bad down the drains, it would flood the sinks of my apartment.
Each time it happened and I wanted to speak to property management they sent maintenance to talk to me, and hid behind them. One time, the maintenance guy sat down and told me how bad and crazy the property manager was, (pretty cuckoo from the sounds of his stories he had about her. Some of them made her look downright racist.)
At least the one positive thing I can take away from this is to let my experience help others.
Whatever you do, don’t rent here.
