This business was my exclusive dry cleaning provider until it ruined my $ 600 suit. The suit was only two years old and I’ve been dry cleaning the suit here only once every few months for the past year and a half. The chemicals the dry cleaner used caused unsightly raised areas on the suit’s chestpiece and shoulder. This damage to a man’s suit is commonly known as «bubbling.» I presented the damage to the business’s operator, and his only answer was«It’s not my problem.» When I pressed him on the issue, he finally offered $ 50 store credit, but refused to provide any cash to be used towards a replacement garment. It’s not like I want this business to continue dry cleaning my clothes after this has happened! I asked him what happens, in general, when the business damages a customer’s clothes, and he responded that he does not have insurance for such an occurrence. He also denied that he caused the damage to my suit, even though he has been my exclusive dry cleaner in Denver and it’s common knowledge that this kind of damage is the result of improper dry cleaning.
