Thought this was a dance club. Showed up and it was a sushi joint. Waited outside a few hours and hoped it would turn over. The girls never came. The girls never came. This place is the pits.

Management is lacking at this establishment. Don’t spend your money here! The«owner» — a man named Mo or M.O. — is rude and lacks the social skills necessary to manage a club like this.

The bartenders are great but mgmt. and ownership is lacking to say the least. Was there for a girlfriend’s big birthday and the DJ was playing satellite radio. They had her set up in the corner then complained constantly that wait staff couldn’t get through when they didn’t give her enough space clearly. The food was sitting in the dark and you couldn’t see to serve. And I didn’t want to tell the birthday girl but I know for a fact they over charged her and there’s no way we burned through her bar tab the way they said we had. Everyone had bills on top of a big bar tab and only half the people were even drinking. Owners must be really hard up to gouge the birthday girl like that. And who orders a d’asti and gets a $ 5 bottle of Cavit instead. They didn’t even have another white wine to serve.

It it weren’t for our birthday party(of 12), this place would have been deader than a doornail. Upon arrival our waitress greeted us and took our order, but then proceeded to «party» in the corner with her manager. Take your business to the bar and the bartender will try and order you up drinks as if they were running like water(at triple the cost). It’s a wonder this nightclub, who prides itself in being premier and exclusive, can keep its doors open with their business practice. We all know the staff drinks away a profits as the night continues, but Cherry makes every attempt to pass their engagements onto the clientele. Never start a bar tab or you will find yourself paying for the staff’s libations. 3 well wine’s later, my bar tab included 8 other beverages, in which the waitress and bartender tried to pass it off as others who said«it was ok to put on my {sic} tab». Argue your case but you go up against inebriated workers who would fail sobriety tests before it is even taken. If you are looking to pay ½ your salary for one night of «friendly fun» go here. Otherwise, take the pass card and go directly to the Tavern next door.

This little bar is fantastic. The atmosphere is terrific, slightly upscale. The bar tenders are awesome! Try the bomb pop martini… it’s sweet! We rented this space out for a private party and they took great care of us. the only thing that wasn’t so great was the DJ. He would play a great dance song and people would be on the dance floor then he’d change tempos and the dance floor would clear. He needs a little work… But I’ll definitely go back.

The place is nice but they are very rude to their customers. I was at Cherry with my wife and a few friends. When I tried to purchase one of their overpriced beverages(they charge $ 10+ per drink), a person behind the bar(who appeared to be the owner), asked a police officer who was sitting at the front door to escort me off the premises without giving any kind of explanation, when my friend tried to grab my coat he was asked to leave as well. This place doesn’t belong to Cherry Creek North neighborhood, they should have stayed in LoDo where they would fit quite well into the whole gang member scene. Mr. Olsen already had a venue in LoDo and he should have stayed there. I am contacting BBB, DPD and Liquor Licensing department regarding this incident. Do not go to this place, these people do not deserve your business.

I was here for a birthday party. So, I thought since the bday boy was springing good money to rent some space that the staff would have been more gracious with their pours. I spent $ 10 per cocktail… I should have gone to whole Foods and purchased a bottle of OJ and saved the money. I don’t know of any other place in all of Cherry Creek that is SSSOOOOOOTIGHT with their booze. Come on! Especially, if I am willing to pay $ 10 per drink. I was very disappointed… and so were most of the other party goers. So, eventually we all left early to go to other venues. \ Shame! The space is beautiful. The staff is nice, maybe send them over to Second Home to have a cocktail. See how its done… maybe then people would not only stay; but, come back as well.

We had a bad experience at cherry last night. The cover was very expensive, $ 15 for guys at the door and $ 10 for girls, but we were greeted kindly and even offered drink coupons to entice us to come in, which we did. We ordered 3 whiskey cokes and the bartender charged us $ 27…talk about Vegas prices. I mentioned the excessive price and the bartender argued with me, so we paid to avoid further confrontation. He then caused a scene because we didn’t leave him a tip after being ripped off for 3 drinks, to the point where other patrons had to step in and throw money at him so he would continue pouring drinks. He created a very hostile environment for us and the people around us. The dance floor was fun however, and the sorority/frat party they were hosting was a success. Regardless, our experience at cherry last night will surely be out last.

Seeing how there are only 3 reviews… Im sure the high reviews are from employees/owners. This place will go under shortly, just like Bar Luxe. Anyhow went last night… was pretty dead!!! So, that alone will close this place down. Next, $ 9 for a vodka soda? Unreal… thats ok in Vegas maybe, but not this place…

Cherry is a much welcome venue in Cherry Creek. The front opens with a great bar, so if you just want to stop in for a drink, you aren’t in the middle of a club.(and the drinks are delicious!!) You then walk through to a fabulous dance floor, that has a very classy feel. The club continues into a loungy space with couches and a pool table. It has everything that you’d want on a night out! The bouncer also does a great job with holding up the standards on dress and conduct, so you get a good crowd. This is so important and there are so many other places in Denver that dont get this concept.

I have had the pleasure of attending a couple of events at this fine establishment, and my visits have been consistent thus far. Ambiance: Love, love, love the layout. The bar is placed to the right front of the building. So if you’re having a drink or a brake from dancing then you’re not standing right in the middle of a walkway. There are plenty of little nooks with seats to choose from or just to stand around if all are taken. The dancing area is plenty big, with lots of dancing space, and a few mirrors to watch your dancing moves. At the back of the dancing room there is a private room, that is not so private meaning one can go in and lounge on one of the couches, watch sports(?), or play pool. Dancing: The DJ is horrible! He does not know how to mix his music. He will mix 80, 90’s and modern pop in less than 10 mins. It makes for awkward dancing. Drinks: I have been fortunate that I’ve never had to purchase my own drink, and so I’m not sure about the prices. I have been pretty lucky as most drinks have been pretty tasty, kind of weak but tasty. I don’t mind having weak drinks as I’m lightweight. The bathrooms have always been clean and well stocked. They have cloth towels available instead of paper, not sure if this is more environmentally conscious. I have enjoyed my visits because it has been in the company of good friends and so a good time is always guaranteed. I’m not sure I’d go for a dancing date as I’m not impressed with the DJ.
