This guy showed up on the corner of Santa Fe & 8th toward the end of the night on First Friday. He was a savior with burritos and tamales.
I wanted a burrito, but these are not Mission-​style, so I thought it best to go for a tamale. (Read more about Mission-​style burritos here:
). The sweet tamale had raisins; it was exactly what it promised to be. I was disappointed in my choice, but that’s mainly because I just didn’t want sweet; what was I thinking?
They have a vegetarian burrito that looks pretty good. Next time, I’ll go for that.
I give ‘em three stars based on what I did try, and another star for the guy being so damn cool.
