Boston Market is alright food. It isn’t the best you’ll ever have, but they do offer some pretty tasty stuff. I have a weak spot for their macaroni and cheese, and one particular evening, I came by to satisfy that urge. The staff was so nice and polite I was suspicious I was missing something or on a hidden camera show. I’m still not entirely convinced I wasn’t. Whatever! Got my mac n’ cheese, ate the heck out of it, and lived to tell the delicious tale.

After waiting in the drive through for almost 20 minutes and told to wait an additional 5 minutes at the speaker, when I finally begin to order the cashier says they were out of the rotisserie chicken! The only meats available were the meatloaf and ribs! Isn’t Boston Market known for their rotisserie chicken and not their meatloaf and ribs, it was 7:45pm on a Sunday and you’re already out of your staple? Someone should of come out and explained that to the many cars in the drive through so they could choose to wait 20 minutes for meatloaf or ribs!

We live nearby and eat here maybe every couple months. It’s always just fine but tonight went above and beyond. They warned us the meatloaf would take ten mins. When it took 20 they gave us two free meals even though we hadn’t complained. Good customer service can be hard to find.

I will admit it: I love Boston Market. Maybe it’s because it reminds me of my childhood. Maybe it’s because it’s a cheap and easy place to get a meal. Or maybe I just like stuffing my face with their mac n cheese. Either way, I was pretty happy that this place is right down the block from where I used to live. The food, well, it’s Boston Market and if you’ve been to one you’ve pretty much been to them all. I recently discovered their chicken carver sandwich though and I love it. Chewy bread, chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and honey mustard– how can you go wrong? It has all the makings of a successful sandwich to me. The service each time I’ve come in here is just… weird. I don’t know how to explain it other than that the employees seem a little strange. For example, the last time I went in, the girl who was serving me was completely adamant that I order their chicken BLT burger. I thanked her and said no, I would prefer the chicken carver sandwich, but she kept saying things like«Come on, just try the chicken BLT it’s sooo good». I explained to her that I didn’t really like bacon, to which she replied«Well you should just order it anyway, you can get it without the bacon.»…Hold up. Let’s think about this for a second. You want me to order a chicken BLT without bacon? Doesn’t that just make it a chicken sandwich, the exact thing I’ve been trying to order? She got kinda huffy when I kept insisting on the chicken carver. Weird. Anywho, bizarre service encounters aside, this is one of the only«fast food» options I return to semi-regularly.

OK, I didn’t think I would ever review a fast food place, but the Boston Market on Grant Street is actually pretty great. Definitely eat inside, with real plates that are brought to you, and table service when you need it, it’s a great location for a comfortable lunch or dinner. The staff there also seem to really enjoy treating diners like guests and you’re made to feel welcomed. Plus, they are not shy about offering you free food for a return visit(with your stamped receipt) — pretty unique!

The staff here is so friendly that the delicious meal tastes even better. Love the three piece dark with Mac and cheese… Sweet potatoes for dessert. Customer service outstanding!

The bf and I were looking for a family home cooked meal, but fast food style. We found it! The bf ordered the chicken and was excited for the 2 sides, which for him were the mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. I was excited to try the turkey…(but they were out of it)… then the meatloaf…(which they were also out of and only had a small sliver left)… So I ended up with the brisket and the small sliver of meatloaf with mac & cheese and sweet corn. We both got the cornbread. The food wasn’t amazing, but it was solidly good. We really liked the cheesiness of the mac & cheese and the sweet corn had a little extra flavor to it. All in all I’d say their food was a solid 3 stars. However, I gave them the extra star because they offered us a free drink or dessert to make up for not having the turkey and meatloaf… and I didn’t really want anything extra, so I said thanks, but no thanks. However, when we sat down my bf noticed that they had given us a discount on our meal and hadn’t even told us. That was cool, it was nice to see they care about their customers and wanted to make up for it. We’ll definitely be back to give the other foods a taste as well.

I like Boston Market. It is certainly a healthier fast food alternative than the big burger chains and I have seldom been displeased with the quality of their offerings. I am particularly fond of their turkey breast. Paired with a couple of healthy veggie sides(the green beans aren’t bad at all) and you’ve got yourself a reasonable, nutritionally sound meal if you don’t drown everything in gravy and skip the cornbread. You can get the turkey on a very tasty baguette with cheese and tomato«the Carver» if you’re craving a few carbs — skip the mayo if you can. Staff at this location has always been efficient and pleasant. My only criticism is that it can get a little pricy but they’re usually running some sort of special and they spread the coupons around pretty often.

I don’t usually write reviews for chain restaurants but this one has a great staff. The last time I visited I ordered meatloaf and since they happened to be out the manager paid for my alternate meal. I’ll be visiting again :)

I go there for the salads. The greens are fresh and are topped with a generous portion of fresh, chopped chicken breast. The salad menu choices aren’t the most creative in the world, but the quality is excellent and the price is cheap.

Boston Market is a great alternative to traditional fast food. Unfortunately, it’s pretty expensive for fast food — a sandwich, side, and drink here will cost you close to $ 10. But, they serve up fare that exceeds that of BK or McDonald’s any day. You can get a great white-meat chicken breast sandwich(the Carver), or even a meatloaf sandwich. I usually get the Carver, which is great — the meatloaf was only okay. I guess I haven’t tried much else, but I’m sure there’s a lot in between. I’d rate them a little higher if their sides were a little more affordable.

I was lucky enough to have to work on Thanksgiving, so we had our annual«Stuff Yourself Silly» potluck… problem: no one signed up to bring turkey. Can’t do Thanksgiving w/o turkey, right? With my oven too small to cook a turkey, I called Boston Market the afternoon before and was able to pick up a tray that evening(Wednesday). Yes, it was a little pricey. Yes it was good. My only greivance was the gravy(which I had been told comes with the tray of turkey) didn’t make it into my bag. Bummer. Guess I should have checked before leaving the store. I also got one of their Three Side meals, which was yummy and the perfect combo. I’d go back.

It’s hard to beat a fresh turkey dinner with delicious sides. If there was one closer to me I would eat here all the time. There brisket isn’t that good, but everything else I had was great.

Went to Boston Market for lunch today, they have great $ 5 lunch specials which include an entrée, beverage and a side of your choice. The wholegrain bread was good, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. It was sloppily assembled, and way too much mustard/mayo was used. The tomato was ripe though, and the lettuce crisp. I chose the new potatoes as a side, they were good although I wish they were a bit crispier(think it’s a personal opinion). All in all, for $ 5.41 with tax this lunch was tasty, filling and cheap. It wouldn’t be a place I’d go everyday, but would definitely go back when the bank account gets low.

Someday Unilocal will allow us to give zero stars and I will come back and review this particular Boston Market again. It was 8 p.m. Granted a little late for dinner, but the kids and I were hungry and needed food. Rather than drive through McD’s or some such I decided to get something slightly more like real food. Boston Market wasn’t any more out of my way so I stopped. I wish I would kept driving. I should have known it wasn’t going to be a good dining experience when I was greeted with, «We are out of chicken, brisket and ham.» What? How can Boston Market be out of CHICKEN?! So, I said, «How can you be out of chicken?» After waiting for 5 minutes a pot pie(which was so gross I threw all but a few bites out) I ordered the rest of our dinner. Unfortunately, the«waiter» hadn’t mentioned that they were also out of meatloaf! As I was standing there trying to figure out what I would order the wall of ovens went off indicating the chicken was done. I asked if the chicken would be ready soon. «No, we have to wait for another 15 minutes.» I feel like an idiot for staying and getting our dinner there. It was not good and not really what we had wanted for dinner. Honestly, if a restaurant that is known for chicken says they are out of chicken, just march out the door right then.
