Blu Daisy Salon

I followed Maria here when she moved from Sola in Cherry Creek. (You can see the other Blu Daisy Salon Unilocal listing for more reviews on her magical skills, including my previous 4-​star review.) Now that I’ve been with Maria longer, she totally deserves 5 stars. She seriously can work magic with my hair. If I ever win the lottery, I’m keeping her on retainer to do blow-​outs, color, and cuts on a regular basis.
I have very fine hair with practically no body. This means that most of the time my hair is just straight, straight, straight. But, when I leave Maria, my hair is bouncy and full of volume. Told ya, she works magic. For years I’ve had long hair with face framing layers. Last time I visited, I needed a change and went to an angled bob. Wow. There may have been more hair on the floor than there was on my head, but the change was dramatic and much appreciated. Even Maria said we should have taken before and after pictures. But, what impresses me so much is that even though this cut should be higher maintenance (and yes, I’ve gotten my lazy butt to be better about blow drying and styling) the few times I’ve let it air dry it still ends up looking amazing. The bob cut is so good that my fine hair still curls under as it dries. Woohoo!
Maria was recommended to me by my dear friend Claudia B years ago. Claudia has really, really thick beautiful hair that many stylists find difficult to work with. Maria works wonders with her hair as well. So, I’m pretty sure no matter what your hair type, Maria will be able to make it beautiful.
She also takes the time to really listen to what you want. And, the head massage and shampoo are truly lovely.

Loved spending time with Maria! I have naturally curly hair and she has that magic touch and cuts my hair so I have the option of wearing my hair straight or curly. I love the Surface products that she uses… all natural! And of course… the soft highlights that she added lighten up my face! thanks again Maria!!!
