Whoa, what a difference a year makes! I went here today and was verbally attacked by a crazy crackhead because my hundred year old dog was with me. She basically just wanted to fight about something, and I seriously thought she was going to physically attack me. My poor dog was more scared of her than she ever could have been of him. WEIRD. She probably freaks dogs out with her bad juju. Thankfully it was near the end of my wash, but the whole altercation went on for about 15 minutes. It was dirty this time around, too, and I noticed that several of the machines where broken. Next time I’ll be dropping my wash off at one of those drop and pick-up places. Man, why are people such freaky loose cannons?

As the sun rose quietly over the parkway, my cat violently expelled his stomach contents onto my sleeping bag. Based on the positive reviews of this Laundromat, I moseyed down Colfax with a fistful of quarters, knowing they’d have machines large enough to handle the job. I found the place nestled neatly between a hooker and a marijuana shop. Sadly, this Laundromat had about 37 machines and 13 of them had«Out of Order» signs on them. I needed two machines to fit the bag. I poured my soap into one of them, only to find it jammed with quarters(but no «Out of Order» sign on it) and not functional. I found two others and deposited the two pieces of the sleeping bag. One machine did fine and was done washing in 29 minutes. The other machine did not have the ability to drain water so when I opened the(side-loading) door, the suds and water exploded all over the laundromat like Mt. Vesuvius. I felt like Alice on Brady Bunch when Bobby used too much soap. Luckily, I was able to pull an elderly man and his oxygen tank to the safety of Colfax by using a life saving move I learned on Baywatch. I returned to the Laundromat to survey the mess and start the clean up process. However, there was nothing to clean it up with. My nervous stomach gave a shout out to my lower intestine letting it know it was time to get a party started. I quickly swam to the restroom before I shit a literal brick. But there wasn’t even toilet paper! This Laundromat was not the best.

This a few blocks from my house it’s always clean, I’m in and out in no time the owners are very nice. As I don’t have a washer and dryer at home it’s a good place for people watching, as you never know what you will see on Colfax. Plus you can get coffee close by.

Um finally a CLEAN washer in this damn city! They recycle, the had magazines, it was clean, they had bleach wipes so you could clean up after yourself and disinfect your folding area! SCORE! This is what I have been looking for. Too bad there were stupid, screaming, foul mouthed kids in here running in to me looking through my purse etc… ehhhhhh A little small but oh well. I like it and I will probably be back.
