Belvedere Cleaners

I found Belvedere cleaners on Unilocal after I unfortunately had someone spill an entire glass of red wine on the back of a camel/​light tan wool pea-​coat over the weekend. As you can tell, Belvedere has tons of raving reviews so I thought I would try this place to get the stains out of my coat. I was sure that the stains weren’t going to come out (it literally looked like someone had been murdered on the back of my coat). I dropped it off at Belvedere on Monday and they had it finished by Friday. All the stains were out and I was so happy. I will recommend this place to anyone that has any sort of stain in a very nice piece of clothing and they want to drop it off at a place they can trust. I was thoroughly impressed.

I was lucky enough to borrow a close friend’s wedding dress for my big day, but unfortunately she had not had the dress cleaned after her wedding in Oct 2009! I found Belvedere cleaners on Unilocal and chose them based on reviews, pricing, and the fact that they don’t mail the dress out of state requiring 6 weeks turnaround. The initial cleaning was half the price I was quoted at other shops, and the dress looked INCREDIBLE! My friend (whose dress I was borrowing) said she didn’t remember it being so clean even when she bought it new. I returned the dress to be cleaned after the wedding and the sweet owner (?) remembered me and gave me a discount. Both cleanings totaled less than $ 300 which is typically the cost for ONE cleaning. We’ve started bringing all our dry cleaning to Belvedere based on our experience — we love them!

We were in town with Abi Ann who is opening for Kelly Clarksons Piece by Piece tour — in a rush to get some key items dry cleaned and were super happy with the kind staff and expert service we received! Would definitely recommend Belvedere for all your cleaning needs!

They took my wedding dress and cleaned it beautifully just four days before our big day. They got it done earlier than expected and it cost less than expected. They called me right away when it was ready and were very kind and professional the whole time. They did a great job with the work and the dress looked wonderful. I am coming back there today to drop off my husband’s suit!

They are so friendly! I’m always spilling different things on myself, and they always do a great job getting the stains out. I’ve brought in a lot of dresses/​skirts that are tricky material with tons of tiny pleats– they always warn me that there’s a chance the pleats will be messed up during the dry cleaning process– but they always come back perfect!

Roya and her staff are a serious pleasure. Our first visit here was to have my wedding dress and my husband’s suit professionally cleaned. Incredibly fair pricing and a beautiful cleaning that left our outfits smelling like a field of cotton and sunshine. We bring all of our coats and sweaters here and recommend them to everyone. The Good: Roya makes you feel like family and gave me personalized attention. The cleaner is on a nice street in a aesthetically pleasing building. The work done is excellent. This cleaners was able to remove a difficult grease stain even better than I expected.
The ok: Shirt dry cleaning is about as expensive as one can find in the city. However, I would say that it is definitely worth the investment.

Roya is a master tailor and really cares about her work. She has repaired or altered winter coats, pants, jeans, my husbands suits and vintage clothes for me and everything has turned out beautifully. She cleaned a designer vintage coat I bought for about $ 125 that I sold for over $ 500 because she was able to clean and repair the coat to like new condition. Her prices are beyond reasonable for her exceptional work. AND she is a truely wonderful person as well. Thank you Roya, you are a gem!

Roya did an amazing job on my dress!
I went dress shopping with my bridesmaids and mother, I fell madly in love with a dress that was way out of my budget! Then my matron of honor brought me another dress to try on, I feel in love all over again, however the price on the tag had been worn off, so that worried me, when my friend said «well if you love it, its actually the same dress I have and you can have it!» Only catch is she had an outside wedding!!!
I picked up the dress from her and we looked it over, (the entire dress is lace) the ends of the train were quite dirty and when you bustle it it actually looked black!!! So after lots of research I found Belvedere and saw her amazing reviews, I thought I would give it a shot.
I took the dress in and talked to Roya, I didn’t think the dress was that bad until I saw Roya’s face! Now I am a lot more worried, but she said she will do her best and worst case scenario if dry cleaning doesn’t work she will hand wash it. Well I picked it up on Saturday and it looks brand new!!! I can’t even express how happy I was! I will be going back to Roya for her to do my alterations a month before my wedding.
I didn’t think her pricing was expensive at all, considering she made a unuseable dress look brand new! It was $ 150 (again my dress is all lace and beading).

The owner, Roya, is very personable and reasonable with her prices. I had to get a dress altered in 4 days. She was able to alter the dress in time. She even had me come in a day early before to make sure the alterations where correct in case I need changes. She told me the same price up front and the same price when I went to pick up the dress. I have also gone back with another dress, and she had quoted me the right price and time when the dress has been ready. Very happy with the quality, price, and time need for my alteration. Plus, it helps how pleasant the owner is to work with. :)

I took my silk wedding dress here to be cleaned. My wedding had been outdoors so I had dirt/​water stains on the bottom as well as other stains. The owner was wonderful, she had me come in to check her work mid way, and she even gave me a discount when she couldn’t get one of the stains all the way out. I would highly recommend Belvedere Cleaners. Kind service and excellent work.

I wish there was an option for 6 out of 5 stars, because this place would get it from me. The owner is a real pro: super friendly and incredibly thorough. I had a beautiful bridesmaid dress (a major win, am I right gals?) and I spilled food and a little candle wax on it at the reception. I tried machine washing it to no avail. I was terrified I’d have to throw it out as a lost cause, but then this place was recommended to me. I could not be more happy! The dress looks brand new and didn’t take long to get back. I wouldn’t call it cheap– $ 19 for one dress– but it’s better than tossing out a ruined $ 200 dress. I don’t have a single complaint. Glad to have found a quality dry cleaner! The location is a little hidden, it’s small so look carefully.

Bought my Vera Wang dress second-​hand from a girl who had an outdoor wedding and never had it cleaned afterwards. Read the reviews on Unilocal and decided to try Belvedere’s to have it professionally cleaned… and now that I have first hand experience, I can say that place is AMAZING!
My dress had champange spots down the bottice and all sorts of twigs/​dirt/​stains in the layers of underskirt, but now it looks brand new! I took a huge risk on buying a dress in that condition but Belvedere Cleaners totally saved the day. Awesome service, amazing results, very reasonable price.
I’ll be back after the wedding to get the dress clean/​preserved!

This place is amazing! I had a bit of clothing tragedy on a flight. My suitcase was left on the runway for 3 hours during a torrential downpour. Needless to say when I opened my soaking wet bag it looked like I washed white with darks… and I’d just gone shopping so a few items still had the tags on. I called Belvedere and she said she’d do her best but my clothes were a mess. To my utter delight and surprise all but one white silk blouse was saved… and she didn’t charge me an arm and a leg! The owner, Roya, is always smiling and takes special care. VERY VERY IMPRESSED with the service.

Roya is AMAZING! I took my silk wedding gown to Belvedere Cleaners after a long search trying to find a dry cleaner that wouldn’t charge me an arm & a leg to get my dress cleaned for our wedding day, as it was a sample sale dress. I was quoted between $ 250-​$ 550 at other dry cleaners, but Roya charged me only $ 120 — and the dress looks brand new! I would highly recommend Belvedere Cleaners to any Bride.
Oh, and Roya quoted me $ 250 for my dress to be cleaned & preserved after the wedding — which I wasn’t considering due to the high cost quoted everywhere else, but for only $ 250, I may consider it now.

What do you want from your cleaners/​tailor?
1) reasonable prices. Check.
2) quality work. Check.
3) reasonable turn around time. Check.
4) All of the above provided by a friendly and knowledgeable woman who runs her own small business. Check check check.
So really, the question becomes, if you live or work in the Golden Triangle/​Speer area, why would you go anywhere else?
Finishing off with a quick personal anecdote. Roya got my business when she was willing to pin up my wife’s custom wedding dress even though we were shipping it back to the maker for last minute alterations. She did this free of charge and with barely any protestations. She helped us avoid what seemed at the time to be a large crisis.
Since then I have gone to her for cleaning, hemming a pair of jeans, and sewing in suspender buttons. All of these things were done very well at a very reasonable price. Roya is good people, and this is a good place.

This place rocks! My friend recommended Roya for alterations and she did a phenomenal job altering an evening gown I ordered a size too small. I will definitely be going back for all my alterations needs! :)
