If it were possible to give negative stars I would. First ordered the baja steak burrito. The steak was cold and tasted stale. The tomatoes were far from fresh. Tasted like the left over juice from bottom of can. The personnel were wonderful and made a new burrito with chicken. This meat was my h better however the rotten tomato and avocado spoiled the entire meal.

Nice place. Delicious food and fair prices. I can eat in the restaurant, outside on the patio, or walk back in the office building with plenty of spaces. I’ve got options.

Date(s) visited: about 1 time. Food/Drink: 5⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Atmosphere: 5⁄5 Price: 5⁄5 Parking: 4⁄5 «TALKABOUTFRESH… I COULDPRACTICALLY ‘BREATHE’ MYFOODIN!» :) Food/Drink: I had a smothered breakfast burrito here the other day with all the fixings. I have to say… the veggies were just so wonderful, crisp, and light. You really feel like you are doing your body some justice by eating here! Definitely a great option for someone who is trying to be health conscious while enjoying ethnic tastes at the same time. Oh… And I just LOVE their Salsa Bar… A Mexican café just doesn’t feel complete without the option of smothering your food with sauce! They even sell the Green Chili sauce they use for their food in jars available for customers to purchase and take home. Service: Very good service… Nice…Courteous…Professional… Atmosphere: Very clean!!! Price: The prices were average… Parking: Downtown Denver has $ 1 an hour parking if you are lucky to find it. MYTHOUGHTS? I like this place and enjoy the fact that the food here tastes so fresh and healthy. I LOVE Mexican food and can appreciate any place that not only cooks ethnic food but does it in a way which you can really appreciate its freshness. This place does it for me… I can really taste my food :) RECOMMENDATIONS: Try the smothered breakfast burrito as a early morning starter… They won’t make you feel sluggish for the rest of the day!

I love Baja! They have the best vegetarian bean burritos(with black beans!), and they’ll go easy on the cheese if you ask. Back in DC, there’s a Baja on every other corner(almost like Starbucks). And when i first moved to Denver, there was a Baja near my house in Littleton and one near my office downtown. Now, only the downtown Baja is left(I think there’s also one in Aurora). I’ve never understood why Baja can’t make it in Denver. Their food is better than Chipotle, they have a great salsa bar with lots of different salsas to meet every palatte, and their food isn’t covered in gobs of cilantro(which i’m convinced is just used to hide otherwise bland tasting food). The ladies who run the registers are quick and efficient, and the kitchen cranks out yummy food like crazy. Tip — if you have the flexibility in your lunch hour, i recommend going around 1pm to avoid the crowds. Only downside — Coke instead of Pepsi. You Pepsi lovers will understand … you have to go to Wall St. Deli or Quiznos for your beverage. :)

Baja is probably one of the underrated fast food chains. It doesn’t get the same attention as Taco Bell or Chipolte. Yet, I enjoy coming here for lunch about once every 2 weeks. For starters, their ingredients is always fresh. I pretty much always get the Chicken Baja Burrito. The Chicken is always fresh as well as the tortilla. Unlike Chipolte, the Burrito isn’t overloaded with rice and beans. They also have a salsa bar which appear to be made fresh daily. One good sign of this place is it appears to attract Mexican immigrants. You’ll see the maids that work at nearby hotels standing on line. Just today, I saw 4 construction workers chowing down Tacos with extra side servings of peppers. This location is in the ground floor of a corporate office. There are additional tables in the lobby/atrium.

I’ve eaten there three times this year, always for breakfast. The burritos are okay, kind of on the small side and you really need to add salsa from the bar because they are pretty bland.

I’ve always liked Baja Fresh, probably even more than Chipotle. So thrilled to learn they offer Tortas!(Mexican sandwiches using a bread roll called Bolillo). I opted for the Grilled Chicken Torta with avacado, lettuce, and tomatoes. The chicken was pretty bland, all the flavor really just came from the rolls, and they toasted it, so delicious! I’m gonna have to try the steak version even though I’ve heard it tends to be dry. My friend ordered the kids meal(!?!) Didn’t know they could do that; another reason to love Baja Fresh, no? :-D In fact, she’s the one who got me hooked on this place. I remember when she wasn’t on a diet and ordering kids meal(lol), she used to get the vegetarian version of their nachos(lots of beans, rice, and cheese in place of the meat). It was so big the two of us would share it. I’m a meat eater, so I would give any restaurants high ratings if their vegetarian creation appeals to me, and I don’t even like whole beans! But I enjoyed that particular nachos very much, so it got to have tasted quite good. Typing this now is making me want to get that again so I can go down memory lane!

Three words. Smothered breakfast burrito! There you go, all you need to know. Really, this place was a go-to for breakfast burritos for a long time and then they blew the top off of breakfast by offering those tasty burritos smothered in green chile sauce. Awesome!

A+ for speed. These guys churn and sling lunch after lunch. When I first went in, it reminded me of some old school video game where the customers just kept streaming in and the food just kept coming out. I would say that from the time to order to the time you get your food takes exactly the amount of time it takes you to get salsa. Downside? Well, the food is just kind of blah when you compare it to Wahoo’s or Rubio’s. Essentially, they’re missing fish tacos. If I didn’t work in the building, I’d probably search for something a bit more creative. When it comes down to it though, it’s a decent and, importantly, a fast downtown lunch. I’ll be back, not because it’s great, but because it’s convenient(that has to count for something, doesn’t it?) P. S., chicken taquitos are probably the best deal here, under $ 6.

I’d like to write a more positive review, but it took 21 minutes to get two tacos. Unfortunately the tacos were no better than what I would expect from Taco Bell.

Yum! I recently came back here for chicken taquitos. I think it’s my favorite thing here. They’re crispy, the chicken has great flavor and the queso is oh so good. They’re very filling, too. My favorite salsa is the very dark(almost black) medium/mild salsa with the chunks of tomato. It is so delicious. The customer service here is great. They’re always friendly and even the guys making your food are friendly and smiling. Baja Fresh is a great place to to grab a quick bite for lunch downtown.

I really don’t have any complaints about this Baja Fresh. I recently attended a training class in the building and went to Baja every day for lunch. The staff were quick and efficient(even with the huge line that forms from 11 – 1) and my salad came out quick no matter how many people were there. Baja Fresh has all their nutritional info on their site, which makes it easy to pick out what you want and everything is very fresh and the flavors are awesome. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This place seriously has the best customer service I think I’ve ever seen. Ever. I’ve worked in food, I’ve worked in retail, I get that it’s not always easy to stay supernice and patient and calm. In fact, it’s near impossible with the lunch rushes they get at this place. And yet, these people do it every single day. They are saints. The manager, the employees, everyone! Incredible! I know it sounds crazy, but you’ll be impressed. It helps that their food is totally delicious, chips come with pretty much everything, and you have your pick of a few different fresh(and tasty!) salsas to accompany whatever your stomach desires. This place deserves a visit. Or several.

I love Baja Fresh. I never realized there was a location in Denver until they had this very nice $ 2 promotion. Anyway, this is pretty good for chain Mexican. It isn’t authentic, but either is Chipotle. I like Baja over Chipotle because they have a nice condiment bar with good Pico de Gallo and other sauces. However, the chips aren’t as good as Chipotle. All in all, good place for chain Mexican.

I have eaten at this place several times and normally to be fair they get it right, but they HAVE made mistakes twice out of maybe 10 times, and I don’t like how they don’t give you itemized receipts of what they believe you ordered. Anywho yesterday, they left out guacamole I paid for, even though I specifically asked them if it was in the bag — it wasn’t. I called Julian Ramos the general manager, and yes he did offer to replace JUST the guacamole, instead of going the extra mile and discounting or comping the next meal. Thanks Julian but I shoudln’t have to walk back and forth 4 blocks because of your screw up, you cheapskate. Folks, it costs restaurants maybe 50 cents to make the meal they sell you for 10 bucks. Further, unlike many places which offer lunch cards and give you the eighth or tenth meal free, because HELLO they value your repeat business, apparently not so at Baja Fresh — no similar cards there, and like I said above, not willing to invest in your relationshp with them, or keep it. So guess what, they’ve lost the monthly $ 60, yearly $ 720, decade $ 7200 investment I would otherwise spend there now. WATCH your orders and CHECK your bag before you leave every time in case you are the 1 out of 5 screw up. Otherwise, food is decent and healthier than taco bell and Chipotle. Well lit and friendly.

I started stuffing my piehole(burritohole?) with Baja Fresh back in Santa Barbara. Is it authentic Mexican? No. Is it the best of the fast food Mexican eateries? Yes, yes it is.

Until my discovery of Mad Greens, this was my fast lunch of choice in downtown Denver. It’s a chain, so if you’ve been to one you’ve been to them all, but the variety of self-service salsas and the comparative yumminess of the taco salad were enough to keep me happy.

Baja Fresh is my favorite Mexican fast-food place. I like it better than Chipotle’s or Qdoba. My favorites are the Baja tacos. It gets quite crowded during the weekday lunch time, so be sure to plan accordingly; the staff does try to move the line along quickly though. I like how they lay their different salsas out for you to obtain on your own e.g. green salsa, red salsa, fresh salsa, etc. So for people who are cheap or lazy to go to the store to buy dip for a party, bring an empty gallon to stock up… 1 star off: no easy parking 1 star off: too crowded during lunch time(when I want it the most)
