In short, the TV seems to have been mounted solidly into concrete, but the overall experience was not good(read below); I do not recommend this company. I waited 3 hours(beyond the ETA) for the technician on the first day. While I’m used to waiting for such services, what made it infinitely worse was that the time kept getting extended. «I’ll be there a little late,»(an hour goes by) «I’m leaving now,»(45 minutes goes by) «I have to pickup some materials, is that ok»… This sort of behavior is unprofessional and not considerate other people’s time. Granted it was snowing here in Denver, but that doesn’t excuse the poor and inconsiderate communication. Once the tech finally got to the house, I found his demeanor scattered, and must say I wasn’t convinced of his proficiency. He was friendly however. He poked a number of holes in the wall looking for studs, and found nothing. Again, I basically expect this, but the way it was done was unprofessional(haphazardly, with holes placed conspicuously in the middle of the wall). After calling his boss, Chris, they determined that it would be better if Chris came out the next day to do the work. I was told numerous times that the cost for install would be $ 150 for mounting, $ 150 for electric, and $ 50 for additional materials to mount into concrete. Day 2 begins as a repeat of day 1. Chris is 2 hours late, again texting me while continually pushing back the time. He finally arrives, also has a scattered demeanor, and does not have all the materials I had asked him to bring(specifically a second mount in case mine didn’t work, white outlet covers, an extension cord – things that a professional tech should bring to any job). The install went fine, and the TV and component shelf seem to have been mounted solidly. Chris was good about cleaning up the cords with zip-ties and vacuuming, however the components were not wired correctly. He did not test the setup when complete, so after he left I turn on the TV and the game system didn’t work. After 30 minutes of undoing zip-ties and rewiring, it worked(TV had been plugged into HDMIIN not HDMIOUT). Not a huge deal, but certainly not ideal, especially when I had been told on day 1 that they charge«15%» more than their competitors but the service is «much better.» After completing the install, Chris created an invoice on his laptop and tells me he’ll send it to me when he gets home. Fine. I give him a check. The price seemed high, but without an invoice and after literally 5.5 hours of waiting+service time that day, I was ready to be done. The invoice never arrived, and the more I thought about the price I was quoted, the more I felt that I had been over charged. After four days of back-and-forth with the first tech defensively telling me, essentially, that I was in the wrong and not remembering correctly, I finally got the invoice. I decided to take up the matter with Chris; surely the owner would be more professional. Chris apparently felt it wasn’t even worth replying to my message. I have not heard from him. Again, extremely unprofessional and very poor customer service. So, in the end, I feel that I considerably overpaid in time(at least 5.5 hours of waiting around+an hour of frustrating back-and-forth about being overcharged) in addition to the actual financial overpayment which amounted to about 20%($ 100). But the TV is still on the wall over a week later. I rarely ever write reviews, but was compelled to in this instance because the service was so blatantly poor. Needless to say, I would not use this company again.
