Fast, cheap, and sloppy.
They were by far the low bidder — probably about a third lower than any competitor. They replaced my 25 year old furnace and whole house humidifier in about 5 hours. Unfortunately the work was extremely sloppy. They really hacked up the supply plenum and covered the sloppy work with metal tape.
We have had the furnace a couple of seasons now. Today I noticed that there is quite a lot of rust on the furnace where the exhaust pipe is connected. Looks like the exhaust pipe was incorrectly sloped toward the furnace instead of toward the exterior. Condensate is draining back into the furnace, causing rust.
I suppose if you’re wanting a quck, cheap job on a rental or a flip, this is a good choice. Otherwise you should probably keep looking.
