Artistic Concrete Flooring

Do not do business with Artistic Concrete Flooring. The business has been sued several times in Denver and Jefferson counties and they have yet to prevail in a lawsuit. For a couple of dollars you can do an online name search in the Denver court system. In Jeffco a search costs a few dollars more and you have to go to the court house. There’s lots of good concrete contractors out there — include J’s Custom Concrete and Good Day Concrete in your bidder list. Save yourself some grief and just say NO to Artistic Concrete Flooring.

These guys poured a patio for my Mom on 4/​29, and then never finished the job. As of 7/​14, over 6 weeks later, they have not come back to remove the forms, clean up, or finish the edges. The edges look horrible, are crooked, and rough. There is a low spot where water is running into the house. They claim that their people are professional, and would never do that, yet will not come out to verify or fix it.
They have stopped answering the phone, will not call back, or come out and look.
A complaint was filed with the BBB, and in their response, they claim that the demo was more involved than they thought, and it was a long drive, and she should be thankful for the quality job they did for the price they quoted, because it ended up being more work than they thought, therefore she got an even better deal. They also said the «complaints were just to complain.»
I have pictures I would be happy to send to anyone who wants to see the kind of crappy work this company does. They claim they have never had any real issues or complaints. Obviously it’s because they do not answer the phone or return to the project once they get their money.

They did A fine job with the original project. I needed a solution for an overflown sump pump. The job was done fine and I paid both the initial Deposit as well as the Final payment when the job was done. Unfortunately for me, the clean up was not done. Although the Drain was done and is working great, they could never be bothered to show up again to clean up the mess left behind. I paid the final payment trusting that they would come back and finish the cleanup. I have been on the phone and texting with them for over 2 weeks, waiting for the cleanup. It never arrived. I’m very disappointed in a company I liked and trusted. I guess the moral of the story is don’t pay the final payment until ALL the work is done.
