I was looking for sporty glasses, something that was somewhat all-​purpose — you know glasses that would work for hanging out on the beach, at a nice outdoor restaurant, and also stand tough during your local softball game. N3L Optics caught my eye because they specialize in glasses designed around sports. You can get everything from hardcore sport-​specific sunglasses to less sporty and somewhat trendy sunglasses.
While I was at the store, there were three store clerks. They were incredibly helpful — providing helpful guidance and direction. They were also not overly pushy, while I tried on brand and style after style. When I became super indecisive, they let me take two pairs of glasses outside of the mall (over $ 400 in merchandise) to test them out in the sun.
They were very helpful and very patient. I only give them four-​stars for not being too competitive on price. They are not any more pricey than other branded competitors, but not any cheaper either.

I was in the store today and bought a pair of Smith sunglasses, which i LOVE. I’ve previously had Oakleys (which are more expensive) and Bolle sunglasses (what is what I was looking for) and I found the smith brand thanks to the salesperson there who was extremely helpful and fun. I was looking for a pair of sunglasses that was not too expensive (~100 bucks), and would not fall of when I leaned over, as I like to climb 14ers and not have them falling off. Love my new sunglasses!

A N3L representative called me a couple of days ago and asked what had happened, and apologized for the customer service blunder and inconvenience of being charged. She was super nice, and made every effort to support a high standard of customer service. She sent me a gift card for $ 100 — over-​night Fed-​Ex — to make amends. I was impressed with the company’s effort to make things right. Customer service is pretty important, especially during these rough economic times.
