Let me start off with I love Anthony’s pizza and subs, but go to a different location. I placed an order online, the soonest it could be delivered was 7:20, totally fine. I called when it was about 30 minutes after when it was suppose to be delivered and was told I was the next delivery. I called again at 8:40 and was told it had just left. It finally got to my house at 8:45. I talked to the manager and was told oh well that’s only 2 hours, it was 2 ½ hrs and the location is 10 minutes from my house, if my car wasn’t broken down I would have just picked it up. She then told me she needed to talk to the owner, to see if they wanted to do anything for me, I did not hear back from them. If I had just been told the first time I called, I would have cancelled and ordered elsewhere. We actually order from there a lot, and maybe it was because it was smaller order but I’m pretty disappointed with the lack of customer service.

If you own a pizza joint, delivery I would think would be key. This the worst place to order from. Most nights they can’t get it to you in less than 2 hours but you can pick it up in 30 minutes. If I owned this location I would hire more drivers. How many sales are you losing from this absurdity.

The wife and I decided to go out for pizza and Anthony’s peaked our interest. First I don’t recommend this place for a quiet and romantic dining experience with your spouse. There seemed to be significant amount of drama during our visit. However, our pizza was really good. The crust had a nice crunch and chew with good flavor. The sauce had a nice little zing. And the large is HUGE! At least the size of two pizzas. Good pizza, decent value, ambiance is lacking… get it togo or delivered.

I ordered a pizza here yesterday and it was gross. I’ve ordered here a lot and for the most part my experiences have been good. However, yesterday it took 2 and half hours to bring a pizza, and by the time I got it was cold and really disgusting. I should of bought a frozen pizza!!! Instead I feel sick after only eating one piece and throwing the rest away.

Anthony s Pizza on Dartmouth is excellent if you go there in person & ask for it to be baked extra crispy, HOWEVER this is the third time I’ve had it delivered & once again it is mushy & cold & there are only a few mushrooms on it. I told the girl when I ordered it that whenever I have the pizza delivered at home there’s no mushrooms on it and please tell the cook. She obviously didn’t tell him and I will never have it delivered again. Very disappointed because when you go there its actually awesome

Ate here two nights ago with 4 others. I’ve been here many times before over the years. This is as good a NY style pizza as you are likely to find. Pizzas are huge for the cost, and you can get draft beer as well. Our waitress was great, and while we’ve tried many other pizza parlors in Denver/Aurora, this is the standard by which the others are judged. Thanks to the staff for great pizza and great service.

Pizza is great. Service sucks, they are rude on the phone. They have been«out of» mozzarella sticks for a year. I’ve come to understand that rude service usually = great pizza, but when they stop delivery service at 8:50pm on a Friday night because«our drivers have dishes and clean-up to do» I’m going to go ahead and switch to Garlic Knot if I’m ordering delivery in the Glendale/south east Denver/south west Aurora area. Phooey.

This is the best pizza I have ever tasted since moving from NYC. Place is very clean. Customer service was spot on. We will return and return again. They have delivery and online ordering. Enjoy!

I am so happy I found this location on Dartmouth. I had been driving very far for their yummy pizza. Now they are way closer to me. I can get my pizza much faster yay. This location is very clean, Nice, Professional. I know they are individually owned, so for now on I prefer this store due to its location, and for all of the words I mentioned above .Now my pizza experience it was absolutely scrumdiddlyumptious it was one of the best slices of Anthony’s pizza I have ever had it was fresh super cheesy. I also ordered a salad and it was nice and crisp, cool with all fresh ingredients. Annette the Manager is very sweet and professional you can tell that she runs a tight ship. Kudos keep up the good work. I look forward to coming back often for the absolutely yummy pizza or as in my words that I say scrumdiddlyumptious pizza.

We’ve been Anthony’s customers for about ten years now and we’ve never — repeat NEVER — had a bad experience with them. The pizza is delicious and well worth the money. We’ve picked up and had stuff delivered and people are always nice and courteous. Don’t hesitate to order from them!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Single slices don’t take long to come out, but they are mediocre at best. I could definitely tell the chicken came out of the freezer. Probably won’t come back, but it wasn’t the worst choice I’ve made.

This place has changed for the worse. What was once a nice, relaxed pizza joint has become too corporate-alized to the point that it’s just not the same. First off, the atmosphere is way too stuffy. They got rid of the comfortable chairs and arcade games and instead stuck with a place that looks like the other«me too» joints in the city — which is disappointing. They lost whatever personality they had months before. Secondly, I’m not sure what happened to the food. I used to come in all the time for the white cheese pizza slices and they really went down in quality. Too much oil, not enough cheese, and simply not enough time in the oven — it’s like I was drinking my slice instead of eating it. And finally, they had too many unruly customer types in there who were being disruptive. For a place that was trying to go for an upper level of class, they came nowhere close here. And one guy continued to yell while the staff did absolutely nothing about it. I live close to this place and used to go all the time, but until they change back to the way they were — which they won’t — they won’t see my business. Avoid.

Absolute rip off! The first time I ordered several months ago my delivery order took nearly 2 hours, I was shorted 1 pie and over charged by another. Spoke with the manager and he assured me it would be taken care of next business day. It was. This last time, just a few days ago, I called in a delivery order at 11:04, 4 minutes after their posted opening time. I ordered, for delivery, 2 pizzas, a calzone and an order of garlic bread. Was told it would take an hour, ok, fine. I paid via a gift card, a $ 50 gift card that, knowing 20% must be retained for tip, told the lady to run it for $ 40 even and then I placed the remainder of my balance onto another credit card. When the driver arrived, nearly 2 hours later 12:47pm, I gave him a large cash tip. Food was luke warm at best. I didn’t lodge a complaint, that was just the last straw. Here’s the kicker… knowing I had $ 10 balance remaining on my gift card, I attempted to use it the next day for a $ 3.22 purchase at a convenience store. It came back declined, curious I called to find out my balance. Someone at the restaurant charged an additional $ 8 to that card for a tip leaving me $ 2 on my card. Stay clear of this place!

Usually this is my go to place for NY style because it’s always been pretty decent, but tonight was another story. It was paper thin, I mean literally falling apart and hardly any cheese which is kind of why you eat pizza. It looked like someone just threw it together in 2 minutes. Take some pride in your job, people. This was total slop tonight! I took a picture. Get your act together over there or we won’t be back!

Was very disappointed in this after reading all the reviews. I ordered the baked ziti and my husband ordered chicken Alfredo. My baked ziti was a bowl of overcooked noodles and tomato sauce topped with cheese. The noodles were so overcooked you couldn’t stab them with a fork without them breaking in two. It was very weird to me that it also contained no meat. I’ve never had baked ziti before with just noodles and sauce. Very disappointing. This«baked» ziti tasted like day old noodles some sauce and nuked melted cheese. The chicken Laredo however was rich and creamy and great. The chicken was dry as dry could be. Sauce and the noodles were excellent. The side of bread with it had very good flavor but was overcooked and too hard for us. Location was clean, people were friendly, just don’t get the pasta here.

I’ve ordered from here about 6 times and they’ve literally messed up my order every single time. Placing an order makes me feel like I’m calling a radio station to win a contest, it takes so many attempts to get through. I wouldn’t order from here unless you plan on picking up in person. You will likely wait 2+ hours only to end up with the wrong pizza. Half sausage and jalapeño, half pepperoni really shouldn’t be that hard. This place is seriously a joke. It’s almost laughable, except you won’t be laughing when you are starving. Giving 2 stars because the pizza is good, but not worth the hassle it takes to get it.

Oh Wow, what can I say about this place, but they are a bunch of thugs that are really weak and vulnerable. I was called and harassed by the staff of this resturanant one night for about 2 hours, they called my cell 14 times in that 2 hour time span and never spoke except the first time when I could hear them all in the background. I dare them do that again! Then the franchise owner contacts me the next day, speaks with the employee that was calling me, and the calls stopped and well I have no proof since they were all from a blocked number on my cell — even AT&T cannot track them — so he considers it just a coincidence, right well I can assure all of you that I never get phone calls at 11:30 pm on Sunday nights especially 14 in a row. So beyond that we chatted he said his store was in the wrong for not delivering to me at the time I had called, then I had to endure the phone calls and he DIDNOTHINGTOCOMPENSATEME! Then he called in Big Bro, well big bro is the president of Anthony’s Pizza so he called me and was just an angry guy and I am not that way unless I have a reason to be, and I thought the whole thing was over until I get this phone call. I honestly have a phone call of the President of Anthony’s Pizza threatening me. Threatening to take things to «another level» he never specifies what that level is but he is comfortable taking it there. I was afraid for my life at one point, I did call the Denver Police Department. I believe these people are wacko and need some business help because I can smell Big Bills New York Pizza Getting Bigger and Bigger, plus Big Bills is Better… Big Bills is the Best Pizza in Denver in my opinion!

What does one need during a monsoon??? Why of course you need pizza, that wonderful comfort food that seems right for any occasion. I was out an about when the storm started and needed both temporary shelter and some sustenance because it was getting late. There was only one thing I could think I wanted being late and on my way home. Anthony’s! This location is smaller compared to the others in the region, but always is packed when I stop by. Tonight was no exceptions. The oven was humming and the phones were ringing. I opted for just a few slices to go. The nice young man at the register placed my order and informed me that there was going to be just a short wait as there was a fresh pie coming out of the oven in just a little bit. This is another place I have found that cures my craving for east coast pizza and is always consistent. Big foldy slices and great ingredients remind me of home. I prefer my pizza on the just cheese side most of the time. If it’s bad, no amount of toppings will change that. They do have a large selection of other Italian favorites from salad to pastas, subs and even wonderful things on the sweeter side. If you’ve not experienced Anthony’s it’s certainly worth a stop in.
