We recently moved to the neighborhood and I enjoy a nice hookah lounge every once in a while, this place had nice Unilocal reviews so I went to check it out. It’s name has changed, it’s now called Luxor. The hookah was delicious, and they have very nice décor and music, but they don’t seem to be aware of what Unilocal is or the check in deal they have on the website. Since I’d checked in here I was hoping to get a dollar off the hookah, and I quickly realized our waiter who was very nice knew minimal English. He’d explained he just started working and got the manager over to look at it. I tried to explain it to him, but he didn’t even look at my phone and just said to give it to us. After this interaction we felt this hostility from the staff and it was kind of uncomfortable so we tried to leave as soon as possible, I genuinely wish I’d never mentioned the Unilocal discount because we were having a really good time before this.

Absolutely love this hookah lounge! The staff is very friendly and the establishment is very clean and up to par. A very relaxing environment to come and hang out with friends.

very cool and laid back atmosphere! music was good but not so loud or club-y feeling so we could still talk. hookah tasted great too. The service was great too. the only thing I didn’t like was that only 2 people are allowed on a hookah so if you have 3 or more people you need more than one hookah, but refills are only 5 bucks

Stopped by on a quiet Monday night for a place to hang out. We were the only people there for a time, and got a tangerine hookah and Moroccan tea, which was delicious. The place has a really nice laid back vibe. Unfortunately the credit card machine was down since the wiring in the building is ancient but we were assured they’d fix it soon. Despite the hiccup I’ll definitely be back.

I just moved to the area, and I’ve been in Andalousia Café a couple times. The people there are always super cool, and tea is fantastic. The ambiance is good, with nice imported furniture, however around 10 pm or so they switch the music from contemporary Middle Eastern to hip-hop which gives it more a club like atmosphere. So if you want to chill out and have a smoke and a tea, I would recommend going earlier.
