Adoor

Put down a $ 900 deposit (using American Express) towards a new garage entry door and a new front door. I was hesitant but everything seemed legit until just recently. The only contact we’ve been able to make for the last couple weeks is with one of the installers and he told us today that Adoor Inc is closing. Nothing from the owner. Turned it over to American Express fraud department and they’ve already credited my account. Now it’s his problem.

Called about getting 4 doors replaced in my home (with the potential of 3 more) and was told someone would call me back. 5 days later, I tried calling again and spoke with someone this time about the work I needed completed. (Apparently, they’re reaping the revenue rewards of our recent floods so I was told it’d be a while before they could make it out) Ok, no sweat, so he says he’ll call next week to schedule.
I’m into week 2 now and am back to looking for a company that needs/​wants my business.
Wonder how much business they’ll have lost out on once the flood work is complete and they’ve completely blown off their other prospective customers.

We had a custom front door built by John at Adoor. We drew what we were looking for and he built the most spectacular entry to our mid-​century home! We couldn’t be more thrilled! The craftsmanship is perfect and John shows true pride in what he does. Great job, Adoor!

I looked for 3 months on craigslist for an inexpensive new front door for our Craftsman bungalow. I found a bunch that I wanted but couldn’t swallow the $ 750 or more price tag. $ 150 later, we had an unique, beautiful entry door to our old home.
The owner is one smart cat. We have a downstairs office that occasionally needs to double as a guest room and my husband wanted to use some type of sliding/​barn door system to keep it feeling open when not in use. The Adoor guy engineered a track system that’s exactly what we’re looking for. And it’s much cheaper than barn door systems.
He also knows a lot about architectural styles and has great suggestions for money-​saving remodels. This place is full of nice products at good prices that would make any DIYer happy.
