I stayed at the Sheraton and had $ 10 in credit, so I decided to eat at 1550. I kept it simple with 12 chicken wings and a beer. It was my last night in Denver, so I ordered the food to go. The wings were pretty good with a little back heat after each wing. They were dry-rubbed with a nice spice mix and my Sam Adams beer washed it all down nicely. Good food. The only issue I had was the overall lack of customer service. No one greeted me and I felt like me being there was a burden to the staff. If they worked on that aspect, they could probably get consistent 5 stars.

The breakfast buffet was fun to take my daughter too… although there was no real instruction from anyone that I could just get up and serve myself. I didn’t even notice the buffet until I saw some other people with the confused looks on their faces too when the same realization hit them. Unfortunately, I had to find my own high chair from another recently empty table since no one was there to ask if I needed one for my 1 year old, she and I dined alone and had a blast eating the different colored potatoes they served, very delicious too! My little girl loves the pancakes, as all little humans usually do love that sweet syrupy taste. Eventually a server came up to us to see if we wanted anything to drink, I had already grabbed a milk from the cereal section for my little one to sip on because I didn’t think we had anyone to serve us. However, he was very kind to bring me a coffee. The only thing I had a really difficult time with was managing the heavy giant odd shaped dishes they have for the buffet, trying not to break it, holding on to a little one at the same time and figuring out what to put on my plate without dropping it all. The food was excellent, however, I think the server may have been a little overwhelmed. I saw him once more before he disappeared into the abyss of the back room… he had brought my check and I never saw him again. I guess it’s a good thing I happened to have a little cash tucked away behind my credit card to cover the bill with an even more than generous tip(mainly because I couldn’t really get change if I wanted to…) As long as baby girl was happy, I was happy. Just wish I knew what was going on?

Tried this place during Denver Restaurant week. Pork Belly app was great. It was only 10 $ to add the wine pairing and the pours were generous. The shrimp pasta was very good as was the the skirt steak. The fruit tart and flourless tort were a great ending. Great staff and great food, we’ll be back!

The salad had freezer burn. The salmon was as dry as saw dust and burnt around the edges. The risotto had a strange taste that was just plain scary. Everything we ordered had been previously frozen. They had the guts to present a bill for $ 98 and expected a tip. This place is a bad joke. Do not waste your time or appetite. One of the worst meals I and my friend have ever had at an obnoxious price.

I am not sure what to say about a restaurant in a hotel known for hosting large conferences THATISNOTOPENFORLUNCH. Huh? If I had all day I would’ve found a great restaurant at the 16 th street mall but I had an hour. Not open for lunch? Then I went back later for a drink and appetizers and they said it would be at least 30 minutes since they had to use the room service kitchen since they had an event that was taking up their kitchen. Excuse me?

This place was amazing for a hotel restaurant. It was clean and the waitstaff was very friendly. At breakfast, they offer a buffet and a decent menu. The granola pancakes are amazing. They were fluffy with granola bits throughout and sprinkled with fresh fruit. The egg breakfast is large and the eggs were well cooked. The dinner menu offered a good selection with basics like a burger and some seafood options. Personally, I avoid ordering seafood in landlocked states. I went with the chicken noodle soup. It was impressive. It has lovely herbs, a lot of chicken, and tons of veggies. For dessert there was the apple tart. It was okay, but I wouldn’t order it again. It was kinda tough. Overall, my multiple dining experiences there were very good and it is a plus to staying at the Denver Sheraton.

This restaurant was in my hotel(I will rate the hotel later). We ended up eating here a couple of times since I was able to get 50% off of all food and beverages at the hotel. We first at lunch here. We started off with buffalo wings, quesadillas and truffle french fries. The buffalo wings and quesadillas were pretty good and the truffle french fries just tasted like fries. There was nothing unique about them. For lunch I had a strawberry fields salad. It was a salad with lettuce, strawberries, candied walnuts, shrimp and blue cheese. The salad was really good. For breakfast they had a sit down and order whatever you would like type of breakfast and they also had a Starbucks counter. Every morning I would start with a Starbucks skim chi latte. Nothing really interesting to say about that. It’s just your typical Starbucks. For mid afternoon one day we just ordered a bunch of appetizers — quesadillas, brie with mango salsa and burger sliders. The brie with mango salsa was just okay. It was very hard and they mango salsa was kind of bland. Not to mention they only gave you three crackers to dip the brie in. It really was not enough. The brie was a disappointment. The sliders were okay. Nothing to special. They kind of tasted over cooked to me. I would stick to the wings if you really have to order appetizers from this hotel restaurant.
