I have to admit I never really write reviews but this place deserves it 100%. The first time I walked in I was at awe with the amount of retro gaming systems and comics they had. The prices of the games were amazing. I believe that they have the highest trade in value that I have seen compared to the other places I use to go to. I think the best part that stand out about this place is that they actually treat you like a loyal customer and just not another person buying games from them. They also have many awesome events to attend and have an amazing community. I highly recommend this place and believe it is probably the best video game/comic stores in Denton.

This place is legit! Stumbled across this place getting my bike fixed across the street. They have retro games and comics and has a very chill vibe through its establishment. Employees are very welcoming and they have a variety of comic book goods and local art to admire. If even here several times to just hang out and do some homework and play some video games that they have provided when you first walk in. I strongly recommend this place for video game and comic book nerds!

It is a really cool store with art for sale as well as video games, comics, and toys. They also have video game guides and lots of games and peripherals for various systems. It is a cool place to hang out as well since they have a large television set and friendly staff. It is nice to see old games on older systems as well as newer games.

Looking for back issue comics? This place has a great selection and are very well priced! Its a nice hole in the wall destination full of vintage video games, toys and comics. Worth a check out, whether you’re a collector just browsing for cool stuff!

This new shop in Denton fit’s the cities reputation for quirky and original. Freaks & Geeks is a vintage game, comic and toy shop setup in a historic house just north of old downtown Denton. The shop had just opened when I visited, but I found the layout to be quirky and fun. Each room has a different theme, one with comics, one with games and one with toys. Both the game and comic rooms were very well stocked, the toy room was a little light but I am sure this will change over time. I was able to find some rare and desirable items in the game room and also a surprise Titanfall statue that was sold at a very reasonable price. For me it’s a bit of a drive from Rockwall, but if you are in the area or do not mind the drive, make sure to check out this little shop. Vintage toys, comics and games are some of my favorite things. I will be back again soon.
