Delicious authentic Mexican food. The enchiladas verdes are awesome. Both of the salsas are fresh and flavorful (and spicy). Super friendly wait staff. We purchased the salsa verde to take home… huge container! Great value.

I think fellow Unilocalers screwed us on this one. Food was not that great for what it cost. Service was terrible; a guy got up and left (angry) because the waitress served other people at the counter before she waited on him. We experienced long wait time and my order was incorrect. I was so hungry from the wait I just ate it anyway.

I’ve eaten here twice and I will eat here again. It reminds me of mi abuelita’s kitchen (God rest her soul) The tacos are to die for and the beans and rice are incredible. This is authentic Mexican food, Not Tex-​Mex! You will love it!

Great authentic oaxacan mexican food. Tacos are amazing, but many dishes on the menu to try. Not just enchiladas and burritos, this is the real deal. It’s a small, family run place, no fancy atmosphere or décor. Prices are really good, and the food rocks. I recommend the lengua, carnitas and the al pastor tacos, the ceviche is great and everything seems made from scratch.
I’m not sure where the one bad reviewer ate, but it wasn’t here. Great food.

If you’re planning to leave your house to go eat here… Don’t waste your time or money. Stay home and get better cooking, better food better service. Our rice was raw, and all the food is bland.

Amazing food! My husband lived in Mexico for two years and he loved this as much as I did (someone who is used to texmex). It was a little heavy for everyday but it was way amazing celebration breakfast and I’m finding myself craving some more!

Excellent Mexican food! Not Tex-​Mex. You’ll find the real deal here. The Tortilla soup was very good! In Texas this week for work and decided to stop in here (based on other Unilocal reviews) for dinner (take-​out) after spending all day inside the processing facility. Preparation of my order was very quick with only a very short wait (was worth it). Check it out you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic Mexican food. Had the caldo mirascos (seafood soup). Food was delicious and owner was extremely personable. Highly recommend. Margaritas available but can bring your own beer.

If you’ve ever been to Mexico you will understand what real Mexican food is all about. Interesting menu, they even have awesome Barbacoa. Just keep in mind this is original Mexican cuisine. Save a trip to Mexico and enjoy some of the best Mexican food in Texoma, .99 cent street taco’s on Taco Tuesday are the best.

AUTHENTIC and I mean authentic! No Tex-​Mex here. The Verde salsa, fantastic. The red salsa fresh and excellent. Great portions but not too big.
I had searched high and low for some authentic Mex around the Denison/​Sherman area and most was what I considered just okay until today. Great chili rellenos, super street tacos. Its the real deal folks.
Can’t wait to try breakfast.

My husband went there for menudo (yuck) this morning. I can’t even WATCH anyone eat menudo but he raved about how great it was. At lunch he wanted to go back so I reluctantly went with him. This is a very small and unfancy place. The food and the service made me a convert. I had the carne asada — the best I’ve had and I’ve been around the carne asada block. I can’t wait to try more things — maybe tomorrow.
