Never been across the state of Texas and had a bad meal except at the one in Anna. They pre bread their chicken strips instead of making them fresh. This place is always good and never fails.

Our chicken strips were a little… stringy. The honey HAD to of been old. That’s the only way it could of tasted that bad. The potatoes and gravy were great as usual. Please note* this is a first for me to admit… I ordered sweet tea here. Never have I had it so sweet… it was too much. There is such a thing as too much Chicken Express, slow your roll

To quote the great Charles Barkley, it was Turible! First off, I had to repeat my order three times for the drive-thru attendant to get it right. I ordered a #1 with fries, roll, fish strip, and hush puppies. My chicken had to have been sitting under the heat lamp for some time because the chicken was luke warm and dry. The fries were old and soggy and I never got a roll. The fish thankfully was hot and fresh. I was greatly disappointed and will never eat at this location again. Two stars for the fish.

Chicken E is always a thumbs-up in my book. From the very first bite, I fell in love with the chicken strips(the fries are also some of the best ones out there) and their sweet tea ended up fueling many late-night study sessions while I attended TCU. And speaking of, this location is owned & operated by a fellow high school &TCU graduate of mine. It’s clean and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Hoping to see this Chicken E flourish in what many would say is a perfect location!
