Xquisite Events

Nancy Gilbert and Xquisite Events created the most beautiful, magical floral centerpieces and chuppah for my daughter’s wedding that you could possibly imagine. Nancy understood my daughter’s desires and vision and she was a delight to work with. She always responded immediately to our calls and emails and met with us numerous times until we were satisfied. Nancy was creative and easy to work with. Our family and friends came in from all over the world and have been to many weddings but they were blown away by the beauty of the flowers. We were at a beautiful venue but the floral arrangements enhanced everything even more. It was absolute perfection. I highly recommend Nancy and her team and would use her again.

My post from a while back did not post for some reason. I am still annoyed at the thought of my experience, so I will repost:
I learned of Xquisite Events (XE) through my wedding coordinator. I met with them on three different occasions and had at least 5 proposals. For some reason, I didn’t feel settled about moving forward until I see an actual sample of a display. So, in good faith, I gave XE a $ 1,250 deposit, as they told me they wouldn’t show me a display without one. I didn’t sign a contract, but I also discussed my intention of doing so once I made sure they were understanding what I was trying to explain and could show me physical proof.
Well, the sample display was bad, boring and unimaginative. It even had dying flowers, which an XE apologized for. The arrangement looked nothing like the pictures THEY sent ME to confirm that we were on the same page. When I asked why it looked nothing like that arrangement, the XE employee laughed saying it was an arrangement that they used at a bridal show, and had «texture» due to pieces they pulled from palm trees outside that venue, and had bugs on it. She added, «besides, with the size of the arrangement, it is way out of your budget.» I thought to myself, «then why did you even show it to me and build up my expectations?» (Budget was $ 250-​$ 350 per table.)
After that, I decided to end things with XE, and asked for my $ 1,250 deposit back. The owner of the company never returned my calls until I got my wedding coordinator (who is a former employee there — which was not revealed until afterwards) to call someone there to ask him to call me back. He was very arrogant and rude to me on the phone. He kept discussing a contract, as if I had signed one, but I never signed with them. He said he read all of my emails and gathered that we did. According to XE, we did.
He said «let’s make this disgusting for both of us and split the difference» so I only got $ 650 back — and nothing to show for $ 625.
I do NOT recommend Xquisite Events to anyone but someone with no taste and money to waste.
PS — I waited 2 weeks to get my «refund» check and was told the check was delayed due to cash flow issues. Stay away!

Nancy Gilbert and Xquisite events created a most spectacular wedding for me. Nancy made my vision a reality to every exact detail and it was above and beyond my wildest dreams. People cannot stop raving about the chuppah, which was EXACTLY as I imagined it. It was insanely beautiful. The flowers were out of this world. I only hope my photographers were able to capture the beauty of it all. I would recommend Xquisite Events ten times over and hope to use them again for any event I may have in South Florida in the future!

Is there another word for amazing? Yes. Jon Buick with Xquisite Events did a Spectacular job designing the ambiance for this B’Nai Mitzvah that was held last Saturday. The venue was transformed into a dreamland of expectations that came true for the girls and their parents. They were all truly satisfied and so were we as we as this transformation added to the pictures and video we were hired to capture. Thank you!
