Excellent restaurant with wonderful customer service. We walked up without reservations on a Friday night. Although busy, they were able to seat us immediately. Our server, Dan, came right over and introduced us to the menu and offered some of his favorites. We have one person in our party with special dietary needs and Dan was very attentive, making notes to share with the chef. The sushi was fantastic. The Handsome Rob and El Guapo are two favorites. Drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is intimate. They also have a complementary Buddha golf cart with driver that will take you up and down Atlantic Ave. Perfect if you are staying in one of the local hotels. Don’t forget to tip the driver.

This place always had fairly decent food. but the food is WAY overpriced. so the happy hour they used to have was great. you could go eat a few things at a reasonable half price. but the new managers decided they need to make more money for themselves(even though the entire menu is double overpriced to begin with). now they changed their happy hour menu so that each item is physically half of what it used to be. so you used to to pay half price for a normal full serving, but now you pay half price for half the food, so there is really no discount to it at all. so its really not that happy of an hour… but what can you really expect from a place that pays 2 girls who do nothing else but stand there and help you into an elevator. maybe if they got rid of them, they could afford to treat their customers better…

Suffering from PTSD after dining on sidewalk café. Freight trains run by periodically while you are dining and staff doesn’t let you know.

‘Buddha’ has become one of my favorite dining places on the Ave. The service is excellent, the food is fresh and amazing and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. I always get great service and VIP treatment from Mike Hackett who knows the menu inside and out and truly cares about providing a second to none dining experience. It’s hard to find servers who genuinely care about their job. My girlfriend and I ate there just last night and had a few of their Premium Sushi Rolls after some great Chicken Shu mai. Def recommend the Handsome Rob and the Atlantic Ave rolls. Both of us were extremely happy with the experience once again and headed up to the second floor lounge/club for a night cap and a little dancing. Wow, what an amazing night! We’ll see you in a few weeks and thanks again for making it a great time!

It was our first time dining there last night and I have to say we will never be back. You just lost 7 new potential customers +! Our waitress was extremely rude and couldn’t be bothered with our table. My girlfriend ordered an Amaretto Sour and the waitress fought with her about ordering another drink as she didn’t believe the bar staff knew how to make it, but they did. Food was good but severely overpriced. I guess thats the Delray sticker tag. And it took 38 minutes to get our check after we requested it. Our waitress had the audacity to say she couldn’t be bothered as she was super busy with other tables. I told the manager. Obviously he didn’t care or follow up as he said he would! Piss POOR hospitality.

They completely changed the happy hour! All the good drink and food specials are not available anymore at the happy hour prices. This was one of my favorite spots on Atlantic for HH. Not anymore! :(

Buddha Sky Bar used to be my hands-down favorite place to go to on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach but it has dramatically changed(in a bad way) since new management took over! Their menu went from being a huge selection to now just less than a half a page! They have different dishes on their menu that you can’t even compare to their prior menu. So disappointed that they would change this place so dramatically. What used to be my favorite place may now be a restaurant I rarely visit anymore. At least the hot sake is still good.

This place has a great location in the middle of Delray Beach. And it is rooftop which I like. I gave it 3 stars automatically. However, the rooftop is not exposed. You can’t walk out to see the night sky from the rooftop and there is zero ambience. Compare it to Lolita in Miami or Area 31 in Miami and you see how it falls way short. –1 star. The food is way overpriced. $ 42 for a tiny sushi roll. in Delray. Which is a bit upscale, but it isn’t Palm Beach. I think the coup de grace on this place was when I walked into the restroom and there was vomit all over the urinal. –1 star. And that’s all she wrote.

Seriously nasty. With lousy service to boot. We were very early for dinner(5pm) and may have caught them off guard. For starters, the Saki was room temp. When I brought it to the servers attention I received some lame excuse about how the machine did this early in the pm??? Within minutes of receiving our Saki, every item ordered was dropped on our table. Luke warm Miso soup(like dishwater), Eddamame soaked in oil, and Sushi rolls. When I commented to the manager about our experience, he decided to throw in a complimentary ice cream dessert(which neither me nor my date ate as we were both avoiding sugar)

We ordered quite a few dishes for dinner because we like to sample new things. Overall the dishes were very small and very expensive. It’s a beautiful place but the quantity of food is not worth the price. This is what we ordered: 5 spiced lamb chops: Small as expected and we only got 4. They were a little overcooked. Blue Crab Rangoon: Very good. Tokyo Beef Skewers: I did not like the flavor or the beef they used. The beef was tough and over marinated. They only gave us 2 skewers and there was 3 pieces on each skewer Edamame: Undercooked. Also not as described. The description said sea salt and truffle oil. They were spicy and hard. They definitely needed to be steamed longer Chicken Shu mai: I love dumplings so I was excited to try these but they weren’t that good. The chicken was salty and didn’t taste right. Vegetable fried rice: This was my favorite out of everything. The rice was soft and the vegetables tasted fresh. On another occasion I had their vegetable roll and pineapple rice. Both were good. The pineapple rice had an Indian flavor which was not described in the menu. They have several private rooms for private parties. Each room is different and beautifully decorated. They have several floors with stair and elevator access. The always seems to have reservations available and tables open.

I came here for an early dinner with my family and friends. The Dim Sum are amazing we basically tried a bunch! Our bill was very high but it was worth it! Cocktails were amazing as well! My 2 year old had a lot of fun with the white sticky rice! I will definitely will come back for some more Dim Sum! Yum yum

Overpriced… sells itself as a culinary experience and the sushi itself wasn’t bad but it certainly doesn’t justify the cost. Cocktails aren’t bad though

The food was great but was a bit pricey for the amount that they serve. I loved the atmosphere and the service. One of the things that I liked is that they have a large selection of sushi rolls to choose from.

I’ve been dying to go to this place and honestly I could’ve spent over 200 $ at a way better place. Being seated at the third story was wonderful. Such a great view of all of downtown! Our waitress Amy from Ireland was amazing! Very fun and sweet and has great recommendations. However the food didn’t hit up to standards. Of course it was great seasoned food but I just believe it’s way over priced for such small portions. But hey what can I expect in DT Delray the spotlight for high life. I just felt maybe they should’ve had better options rather then what I could just order from a Chinese fast food restaurant. My boyfriend ordered the 42 $ meal with lobster mashed potatoes and filet. We upgraded the steal to ribeye for the same price and it melted like butter in your mouth! The potatoes were mediocre. I orders the black pepper beef and all like 4 pieces the rest was pretty much veggies. The vegetable fried rice was a perfect math with it as well. For the starter we had the edamame AND I HAVENOREGRETS! Perfectly seasoned ugh I need to learn how they make it so tasteful. Besides that had a great experience but probably wouldn’t return.

Really, really disappointed– happy hour is 100% different. Now, the wine is only Beringer… Gross. You can pick up a bottle of that for $ 6 at Publix. The menu is a small fraction of the size it used to be. None of our favorites are on it. So… It went from a huge menu and awesome drink/wine list to a 1 page list of food and super cheap wine. We won’t be back.

HAPPYHOUR/DRINKS REVIEW: We came here as a stop before dinner at Vic & Angelo’s across the street on Thursday, just missing happy hour. We went to the bar on the 3rd floor for the view, which is gorgeous. The restaurant décor is very trendy and fun, and everything is super clean. I would imagine the food is good because it was pretty busy. We sat at the bar for a drink, the bartender was awesome and I wish I knew his name!(Shoutout to him and his two jack russell terriers!) Anyway, he told us he could make whatever we wanted even if it wasn’t on the menu, so we thought we would try that out. He made us some STELLAR blackberry margaritas and blackberry martinis with fresh blackberries — so darn good and fresh, and STRONG. We loved it and would definitely return for more drinks if the rest of the bartenders are as fun and talented as he was! Thanks for a great time :)

I’m all about the sky, the sky, the sky bar seating… Like a diamond in the sky(is how I felt)… And ready to eat all my Asian curds and away…(3 songs into one, in my own Unilocaly lyrics fits right into a Unilocal review?!!) Absolutely love the ambience and vibe of this place. Third floor seating with windows showcasing Delray Beach’s Atlantic Ave scene. Love the high top seating style. And the glass arboretum in the background just made the entire experience very visually impressive. Me and my friends went there to celebrate a birthday in our glitzy diamond selfs and had a ball. The only thing I would suggest for big parties of 12 people or more is the restaurant should really assign more than one server. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed with our order and the number of people in our party.(I think there was 15 of us). And our order took a while but it was worth the wait. We ordered many tapas, sushi, and seafood. Everything was delicious and we definitely ate away everything which was ordered. I really liked the quality of the tuna and shrimp. Buddha Sky Bar is a fun place and is a absolute winner in the Atlantic Ave. Go check it out.~
