Nice gem in Pineapple Grove! Missed lunch time but did happy hour and tapas. Awesome! Will definitely return for lunch or dinner.

We come for one reason and one reason only– the bartender, Randy. He is one of the best around. Don’t know what you want to drink– he will take your likes and create his own concoction. Order a cosmo– he will probably roll his eyes(in a convincing you don’t know what you are missing way) and convince you to drink something different. He keeps it real in a world full of fake. Wine list is moderatley priced, menu is always changing and we have never been dissapointed with any experience here. Forget the ave, go to pineapple grove! There is a reason why this bar is always packed.

This place is cozy, causal, and has good food. I have only been here for lunch but love the turkey club sandwich and the avocado appetizer. The staff has always been nice and friendly! Will update when I go back for dinner, possible with a upgrade!

First time to Brule, & it didn’t disappoint! Great meal with friends. Pork belly, octopus pasta & meatballs for starters. Lamb papperdale was amazing. Cookies& cream for dessert! Will definitely be back again, as this will be my new«go to» spot!

Amazing food. All of the tapas were beyond good — foie gras waffle & pork belly being my favorites. Chef Binder is so kind and talented, even came out to say hello when we raved to the waitress. Spicy drink was incredible as well. Must try in Delray Beach!

Many people don’t venture off the Ave, but pineapple grove is the place to be to find trendy restaurants with signature cocktails. And Brule Bistro is one of those restaurants. We picked this place for my engagement dinner and other nights out with friends and we have never been disappointed. My Fiancé and I have tried a few different cocktails that were amazing, as well as many different types of wine. Though their portion sizes are small, it is all you need to leave there feeling satisfactory and not too full. The menu is small as well, but the quality and variety of the dishes is what makes this place so unique. They do not take reservations, but it doesn’t take long to sit at a table and get service. Would recommend this to everyone! Defiantly try the seared tuna poke and seared diver scallops!

Wandering aimlessly, got hungry going through delray found this place on a nice street. Sometimes things just turn out. I had the BLTE, wife and granddaughter had some sort of chicken sandwiches. Everything was well prepared, looked and tasted great. I’m doing all the driving but I still looked at the drinks menu. Plenty of things I could be happy with.

Decided to venture out to Delray for happy hour and I was not disappointed! Found a perfect spot at the bar and ordered some apps. The atmosphere was relaxed, trendy, but not overly pretentious. I ordered the cheese plate and the chicken meatballs. The cheese plate was nice, but lacked some key elements such as: nuts, crackers and dried fruit, but the charred Brie really stood out, especially when paired with the jam. But.the meatballs really were out of this world! They were drenched in a spicy coconut sauce paired with baby Bok choy that was to die for! To be completely honest, I cannot even explain how good that dish was! Def try the meatballs when you go! They are a must in my book!

Very good food with qwirky service. The inside is very loud, so try to get an outside table. Lots of craft cocktails if you’re a bourbon/whiskey/rye fan. Vodka and rum fans need not apply. Panko chicken and tuna poke were both excellent. The apple-pear tart was good but would have been great if it had seen a microwave for 45 seconds. Restaurant doesn’t accept reservations which, in Delray Beach during season, can be a good thing.

This place is my absolute favorite place in Delray for lunch, drinks, happy hour or dinner! Amazing food, cool décor, great staff and more! I have sent so many new people there who just moved here and now it is their favorite place too! Ray is the best bartender! Dale is an awesome server too.

It’s been several years since I’ve been here but remembered it fondly. The décor has been changed for the better and full bar and kitchen are stunning. I had a late lunch so there was no wait and the staff was inviting. The menu is small but each item is carefully crafted. I chose a simple sandwich, turkey club, that was delicious. The avocado, bacon, lettuce and tomato were perfect. The salad of simple greens that accompanied it was yummy and full of flavor. I would make this my choice for lunch anytime!

Brule has always been a favourite. The salmon is amazing and I would highly recommend ordering it! The potatoes that come with it are smokey and delicious. If you go for lunch, the bacon, avocado, turkey sandwich is amazing. Shrimp and grits are also great but I have a hard time diverging from the salmon! It can get busy here, so you’re best to arrive a little early. The beer selection and wine selection are great. I really enjoyed the rose we got. The atmosphere is fun and modern. If you’re getting dessert, definitely get the cookies and cream. Warm gooey chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream, I mean you really can’t go wrong. This is by far one of the best spots in Delray.

I stopped at Brulee after Friday night’s Karaōke UYE event for a quick burger before hitting the road back to Miami, and found the kitchen was closed. I wasn’t feeling the tapas on the late night menu, and my waiter came through with their burger and even dessert. Heck, they even brought out bbq sauce(thougg the spicy aioli that came with my dinner was creamy and with a nice kick.) Great service so far! Though they have valet, I was able to find street parking(of course, I don’t like letting other people drive my car.) The burger(as seen below) was this huge juicy piece of meat, with greens, two huge tomato slices and decent spread of cheese and sauce. Thick cut fries were just crispy, a little salty but went great with both the spicy aioli dip and the bbq sauce. The beef was very tender, and definitely one of the better burger shops I’ve been too. Of course I got dessert to go, and while not their namesake crème brûlée(next time!) their coconut key lime pie was creamy and with just the right amount of tartness.

I would give this gem 5 stars if they did two things: 1. Brought happy hour back to the patio 2. Offered crème brûlée nightly Strange to have a place called Brûlée, and not offer the most popular brûlée dish in the world. Makes no sense when it’s located in Palm Beach’s tourist capital — Delray Beach’s Atlantic Avenue. Things that makes you go hmmm… What we have tried in three visits here includes: 1. Grilled avocado with tomato salsa — 5 stars 2. Crispy pork cheek pizza — not for me. 3. Crispy shrimp tacos — 4 stars 4. Happy hour cheese platter — 4 stars 5. Spinach dip — 4 stars(needs to come with more tortilla for dipping) 6. Po boy sliders — 5 stars(my husband would rather have these as a meal then at happy hour. Maybe the owners should think about putting five or six on a plate as a dinner… wink wink) 7. Angus burger sliders — 5 stars(same as for number 6) 8. Cheese app — 4 stars(maybe some honey or flat almonds, even a few dollars more but would be worth it) 9. Scallops — we came in with my dad but he didn’t let us try it. He said it was a 5 star. 10. Bob Evans chicken — mom loved it. She said 5 stars. Servers have all been superb although the one server/bartender was not nice and hung up on me when I asked about happy hour. Jessie was great — and we love Dale!!! We’ve come in and sat with Dale and he’s so nice — like Disney channel nice. You would think he owned the place! He takes a lot of pride as did Jessie. We can’t remember our other server but good as well. It’s a shame because these are hours most ppl don’t done and Delray is known for this happy hour thing. Oh well — see you for dinner soon — when you have crème brûlée on the menu. My hubby needs it. Thank you.

Went to lunch recently where the waiter was completely rude to myself and guest. I am not sure if he was just having a bad day or truly a nasty person. None the less, the food is usually great at the restaurant but I can not graciously give a restaurant stars based solely on its food just as I could not give a restaurant a rave review based on its staff. The entire package needs to be there especially with a competitive restaurant market such as Delray. We will most likely contact the restaurant and probably make an attempt to eat there again once the manager has addressed the issue.

Love it or not, depends on what Wows you on the modern, classic menu at this lovely place. Located in Pineapple Grove, Brule Bistro has a very nice atmosphere and feels fun and friendly. Sometimes though, nothing grabs me on the inventive and changing menu of fresh food creatively prepared but which does get a bit pricey, actually a bit pretentious in their pricing. I’d like to try their Lunch menu sometime but I enjoy coming here at Happy Hour! Great time to try their beautifully handcrafted cocktails or $ 4 wines and $ 3.50 beers. Appetizers and small plates are are nicely priced like my lovely Grilled Avocado $ 4or try the Angus Sliders with caramelized onions on little luscious Brioche buns $ 8. Check the hours– currently Happy Hour is from 3 – 6:30 . Good vibes, great location just steps from Atlantic Ave so take a little walk up 2nd Avenue and check it out !

Its nice to go out and treat yourself to really good food. That’s what you’ll find at Brule Bistro. My wife and I make this a monthly stop for great food and a nice atmosphere. Never had a bad service experience either. The entrees are just the right size and they offer a diverse selection of appetizers.

Good Food. Good Service. Really liked the vibe of the place. Had the waffle and sausage/egg biscuits for apps. Had the Burger for the main and it was incredibly juicy. Enjoyed brunch here and would definitely return. Not to mention, the location is off the ave, which is GREAT. Parking is a breeze and service was prompt and polite.

Fantastic food, unique menu. A group of 8 didn’t have to wait more than 10 min for a table on at the end of a weekday lunch rush. The grilled cheese is amazing, the burger is enormous, the ahi tuna tacos are messy and delicious. Today’s flourless chocolate cake with gelato was tasty with the cinnamon vs vanilla. Not quite enough to share but we managed. We will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Restaurants are very much about the blend of food, drink, décor, music, and service. Brulé Bistro has changed a lot in the few years since its wine bar days. IN is an improved décor that lures the hipsters and the hip-replacements alike down to this end of Pineapple Grove. The bar is now a full bar and is deep in good inventory that is presented well. The menu has that brown-paper on clip boards pseudo-authenticity that has become the cliché of the«craft» restaurant movement, but puts them in the hunt with Tap 42 and other follow-the-crowd-fooderies. You can put a mink coat on a goat, and it’s still just a fashionable goat. The restaurant was in high gear and deafeningly loud. I am not an old fart who complains about noise, and I don’t mind loud places as my review of places like Tap 42 and Hullaballoo will attest, but, short of possibly dining on the lip of a Rolls Royce engine strapped to a 747 while it’s in full throttle, there isn’t a reason for this place not to spend a little on sound dampening, other, apparently, than«the owner likes it this way.» We came in for drinks at near 10p. It took close to ten minutes for a server to locate us. To the plus side, he did bring the bottle of what I ordered over to tell me that it was a misplaced rum in the Bourbon shelf, but then he forgot parts of the three drink order. I’m good with that, but then when the glasses emptied he was nowhere to be found. To be fair, he apparently did have some problem with a guest and a check that was tying him and one of the three managers up, but that’s when that manager, who should realize this is taking a while, should ask another waiter to cover his tables so no one is looking to grab some pillows and a blanket and get comfy for the night until they see him again. The manager in question was also a large part of the downward experience of the place. The bathroom is flooded on one side because it has a leak. I waited for almost five minutes at the bar for him to come up for air from the terminal he was busily tapping away at. I tapped him on the shoulder finally, not once, but three times, before he came up for air. He barked at someone to get a mop and went back to what he was doing. No thank you. Not even acknowledgement that I had waited there, even though several of the staff were quite aware. Bad customer mojo. I did bring it up with the other manager on duty, and they did offer to buy us a drink, or come back another day. I was so put off by the indifferent service and the atmosphere that night though I just didn’t want to stay. I may come back on a slower night. And turn on my BOSE noise-cancelling headphones. If it works on an MD-80, it should be dandy here.

This was going to be a way better review based on past experiences as I always dine at a place three times before reviewing. However — just drove 26 miles to come to to happy hour here, walked in at 6:28.By the time I got seated and got brought the proper menu –by the way I had to ask for it — i was declined for that happy hour service so I left the restaurant to go some of the other happy hours that go until 7PM,(like Tryst) got half a block away looked at my iPhone and it’s only was 6:31! Not a good call! You know I’m just going to walk over to DADA and I’m going to pay full price for good service and good food. Sorry Brulé you lost my money but more than that, my recommendation based on service. Not on food just to be clear-food’s been great but I’m not going to be finishing food part of that review. :(Check your servers, Brule!

This one had been bookmarked for a while and so it had to be done. I was super excited. We were seated quickly, and given food and drinks menu. I went with white wine as I was in the mood for fish. As for the food menu, I had read enough about the place to know it changes frequently. I just couldn’t find anything that wowed me. I went with fish tacos, which was the last thing I would be eating here. My date went for the seared scallops with pasta, small portion. As for presentation, everything looked fantastic, but sadly, nothing was so delicious that we’d rush back. To end the night with quite a steep bill, but not be raving about the plates was a bit of a letdown. Having heard good things about the brunch menu, I’ll be back to give Brule another shot and update the review accordingly.

I’ve been to Brule for brunch and dinner. For brunch I had duck sausage on a french toast bun. The food tastes good but was a small portion. The ‘McGriddle’ as they call it is two sandwiches smaller than a fist. It would probably be better if it were 3 sandwiches and they served the syrup on the side. Their homemade Bloody Mary mix is unique. It has a fresh tomato taste and is spicy. They do have a much larger menu than I recall in the past. I would visit again for brunch. The few times I’ve had dinner here the food was not hot and didn’t taste fresh. I haven’t had a chance to try their dinner again. Side notes: they have a nice outdoor seating area. Also they don’t take reservations. The fact that they don’t take reservations is a large deterrent. Delray beach is always busy, no one wants to wait to eat. People like to make plans for dates etc. I think they should reconsider this.

We’ve had appetizers at the bar in the past. We finally got to try this place for dinner. It was good. We sat outside cause the inside was packed. Enjoyed the panko fried chicken and shrimp cannelloni. We had lots of appetizers too. We had ginger chicken meatballs, grilled avocado, tempura shrimp skewers and pork belly. All of it was good. They have decent wine selection, too.

Brulé is one of my Delray local faves! Tucked away in Pineapple Grove, it’s hidden away from the busyness of Atlantic Ave. The atmosphere is laid back yet sophisticated– and the décor is really cool. They have a huge bar towards the back in case there’s a wait. The menu is fit for a foodie. It’s a smaller menu but I typically want to order one of everything and they change it every so often(I wish they still had my favorite wedge salad on the menu!) Definitely recommend the tuna poke, scallops, tacos, Bell & Evans chicken(and any specials they have!). Don’t forget to order a glass of wine ANDDESSERT!
