I found this awesome place on Unilocal after growing tired of the usual diner breakfasts. My first visit has kept me coming back for more. I love the breakfast specials and regular breakfast items. I had my first dinner experience last night and that was nothing short of a great!!! The food here is fresh, tasty, and clearly prepared by someone who cares about his food, reputation, and establishment. I urge you to visit and sit outside where you can enjoy the scenery(river, boats, birds, etc) and a great meal.

I visit this area of NJ2 – 3 times a year, and have somehow missed this gem. It now tops my list of go-to eateries! As the photo indicates, you are ON the water and the marina view makes you expect to see Travis McGee ambling by any minute. I instantly felt relaxed as I settled into a table in the open-air porch area, happily opening a book to enjoy the moment. No «yacht club» pretentiousness, only down-to-earth hospitality and genuinely satisfying food. I had the same breakfast twice in the last five days: scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and those amazing Jersey tomatoes. Juicy, thick red slices of crimson goodness! The coffee is meh, but the setting and the bargain prices more than compensate. Notable is the panache with which today’s waitress single-handedly served the entire porch – never missing a beat, and schmoozing with the regulars.

There are very few places to eat on the water that we can arrive to by boat. We googled places and found this hidden gem. From the water it is literally hidden. Lol. I had to call and get guided in. It is is a beautiful view on the water. I had the stuffed jersey tomato with chicken salad. Absolutely delicious! The chicken salad is freshly made no preservatives! My husband had a burger and said it was good. They have fresh brewed ice tea which is always a plus for me!!! We will definitely be back again. I recommend this restaurant.

Stop at the gas station, pick up a tall boy, and get a bowl of the clam chowder. Save money, live better, and eat at this diner.

My Son and I are breakfast foodies. Our first visit was last weekend and we love it. Everything was done perfect and the home fries were just the way we like em. The atmosphere is beautiful. Right on the water. We are going to try it soon for dinner. Outdoor dining is right on the dock and facing the water and boats. Very nice!

Nothing fancy for breakfast or brunch, but a solid selection of staples and waterfront views. Nice breeze, shaded canopy, good people watching(and bird watching and boat watching). I don’t know why I haven’t come across this place before. The kids(and the boat nerds) will enjoy seeing the fork lift delicately pull hot-looking speedboats out of the 5-level boat garage. Couple notes: CASHONLY(ATM on premises though) Can get crowded but you can get take-away Dinner menu after 4 pm BYOB& Coolers welcome!

I guess I’ll title this, «Woops I’ve Been Missing a Good One». This small diner-like, water side eatery may be one of the best kept secrets on the Delaware River. I’ve been cruising the Delaware for years — I even have had breakfast at this little place. Where these guys shine is for dinner — I just finished an amazing chicken dish. The special was a Panko encrusted breast, stuffed with spinach, bacon and blue cheese — all on a bed on linguine — covered in an Alfredo-like sauce. This was spectacular. Whether you go by land or sea… Check out the Dredge Dick-Side. It’s BYO, and as good a food as you will find anywhere. Be forewarned — no cloth table cloths — etc. Just fabulous food, at great prices. John the chef is the«Real Deal».
