Gabby’s Place Bar and Restaurant

We recently moved just a little further north from Lewis Center to Delaware. With that move, fewer places deliver food to our home. We had Gabby’s for the first time tonight and it was awesome! It arrived 25 minutes earlier than anticipated, the food was hot and delicious. Gabby’s will be a regular for our family now!

Been going here for the past 2 years and they are consistently good! The owner is dedicated to maintaining the quality food they put out, and the staff is always very nice and respectful. Glad to have Gabby’s as our go-​to pizza spot!

I have lived in Delaware for a long time and only recently started eating at Gabby’s after passing it so often. I don’t mind the dark, homey atmosphere inside and I prefer their food hot and fresh instead of at home. Their stromboli is always excellent and we really enjoy their wings which I believe they bake. Salads are decent portions.

I have been eating here for over 15 years, and I have never been disappointed. Gabby’s has excellent Stromboli, a little pricey and literally it’s a hole in the wall but truly a hidden jem.

This is a small little hole in the wall restaurant with pretty good pizza and absolute delicious stromboli. We don’t usually eat at the restaurant, but have been getting orders to go for years. If you go here, do not pass up the stromboli — the Delaware Destroyer is the best!

Good Stromboli, and what they’re known for. Pizza is C+ at best though. If you’re calling in an order you may have to call multiple times as they only have 1 phone line and you get a recording to call back. On several occasions it has taken 6 – 8 phone calls to get through, frustrating. I’ve found the folks that answer typically are not very friendly. Been to the bar a few times and it’s ok, small, beer and wine only — -good Wednesday all-​you-​can eat buffet (Stromboli/​Pizza/​Salad).
If you want Stromboli give this place a shot – if you want pizza, subs, friendly service, I’d probably go elsewhere.

I’ve been eating Gabby’s for years. I no longer live as close so our visits are far and few between.
Gabby’s is known for their Stromboli. I normally get sausage, pep, and cheese. The individual slices are bite size unlike a lot of Stromboli where can get messy and almost too much at once. The dipping/​pizza sauce is really good. Nice combo, not to sweet or tart. We also order their pizza. I wouldn’t say it’s the best but their cheese/​sauce/​dough is very unique.
My only issue is that something has changed in the years. We can’t put our finger on it… maybe the dough? Maybe a different brand. vender. If they went back to their original this place would be the bomb. As for right now. ITs a great place with good food.

If you’re looking for Stromboli go to Gabby’s!
They have very fair prices. It takes around 30 min since they make the Stromboli from scratch but it is worth it!
The pizza is pretty good too, cooked on a stone not a conventional oven.
I have not tried the subs yet but heard they are good.
The bar area is typical sports bar with tv’s and some small tables. I believe it seats around 70 people.
Overall a nice place to grab a drink and split a Stromboli.
