This McDonald’s is not as good as I expected. I used to come here sometimes on my way to the office and it is pretty busy and the service is mediocre at best. The way they make their wraps and sandwiches is just very sloppy and I’ve gotten my food cold before :(You can definitely feel and taste the difference at different locations.

Seriously No Soda?! What the hell? The nerve… to even charge for a damn water if that was your only option. Get it together McDonalds in Del Mar!

It’s a McDonald’s I guess. When I was somewhat mistaken about the all day breakfast selection the drive thru woman was a little snooty and impatient about my inquiries. Oh well

While this McDonald’s is up to par with their technology that includes a touch screen to order yourself and TVs. The floors were filthy. I’m glad I was just passing through. Had this spot been cleaner and the staff friendlier I would have given it 5 stars.

This is by far the nicest Mcdonalds I’ve ever set foot in. I never thought of Mcdonalds as anything close to fancy, it’s usually just a reliable place that serves food on a road trip or at 2 am when I’m desperate for some delicious fries. We decided to try the kiosk thingy(«Create your taste»). Since this is a novelty, I decided to deviate from my standard cheeseburger and they the chicken sandwich. Super easy to use the kiosk and lets you create the exact sandwich you desire without charging you extra for toppings(same concept as stacked, without the exorbitant prices) The kiosk tells you to allow 15 minutes for your food to be prepared, as it is made-to-order While I waited I used the ladies room, super clean, with a sticker on the wall giving the managers cell phone number and invites you to text if the restroom is not clean. The food arrives(brought to table) after 7– 10 minutes, arranged nicely in baskets– each sandwich is served open-faced the employee that brought it over noticed immediately that we did not have cups and dashed off to get them without being prompted. The same employee noticed that I was struggling with the ice machine and offered to get me ice from her side of the counter. The food was delicious! A REAL grilled chicken breast with pepper jack cheese and superfresh cucumbers. I’m not in San Diego often, but when I am, I’ll make it a point to stop here before I leave! !!

This is strictly for the restroom at the location. All I can say is: ew. There was no toilet paper in the stalls, the sinks were covered with water, the trash bins were completely full of paper, and the restroom floor had a lot of trash as well. I judge eateries by the cleanliness of the their restrooms, and this was not the worst I’ve seen, but come on. Is it too hard to have someone check the restroom every hour? I saw a worker walk in and then walk out, not addressing anything.

Have you ever just needed some chemically frozen sludge? Does this normally strike you around 4th meal time? Is the Taco Bell down the street lacking class? Boy is this McDonald’s right for you. Make sure you always bring your own car, it will save you a lot of time. Can I get some cheese in that mcflurry? No? Then just give me 20 mc nuggets so I can mcdunk something

I had the worst experience here today. I walked to this Mc Donald for the first time. It looked moderately busy with about 3 open register and a customer at each register. I noticed the automated kiosk for self order. I decided to use one. It seemed fairly simple. I orders my food, entered a tag number and paid with my debit card. The kiosk did not give me any form of reciept. Thinking my tag would light up and/or vibrate when my order was ready, I went and sat down. 30 minutes later, an employee brings me my food. My fries and two burger were very cold to the touch and no drink. I took it to the counter and asked for my money back. They said they have been calling my order nunber the whole time and couldn’t find me. I told them all I had was a tag number and no order number, so how am I supposed to know my order number. They proceeded to give me my money back, the incompetent manager gave me $ 3.25 back, I told him that was wrong and gave Hine the money back. I informed him, I paid over $ 8.00 for the food. He then does some calculation in his head and gives me $ 7.57. I then pull up my chase bank app, and showed him the transaction was for $ 8.20. I will never go to this Mc Donald again. And these incompetent workers want $ 15 per hour… SMH.

Why oh Why do I always have to ask for extra napkins whenever I get a dip cone here? YOUKNOWIT’S GOINGTOMELTANDGETALLOVERME! Tip: Ask for a cup. That way you can put it in the cup and take your time. It still melts, but you can manage it better that way.

McDonald’s has stepped up their burger game! The new Create Your Taste burger has separated its self from all those trendy, over priced burger places with its quality, price and customization with it’s cool new touch screens. I’ll definitely be back for more! Did I mention it’s really really good!!!

Stopped by to try their new burger called Create Your Taste. The French fries came in a fry basket. I liked the updated dining room and hip music.

My main problem was with the the line in the drive-thru. It’s not their fault I know… but it does help promote a less than great experience. Service just seemed slow. Even with two drive-thru lanes, they converge at one point which is always this awkward you-go-or-I-go decision that has to take place between two drivers. I still debate whether two order lines really do make the drive-thru experience faster. Everything else was standard. We did notice our fries were not salted. This is a really big deal since McDonald’s fries ARETHEMAINREASONWECOMEHERE in the first place ;-)

Stopped by here around 10:30 on a Saturday night. The staff was nice. The line seemed to move too fast for how busy it was. After eating there I figured the line moved quickly because all the food tasted like it was held under a heat lamp all night. It was disgusting. Fries lukewarm with barely any salt, chicken nuggets hardened and tasted like cardboard, and the cheeseburger had unmelted cheese with an cold bun with barely warm/very thin meat. Worst McDonald’s food ever. Barely edible & waste of $ 15.

Stop by to get a bite to eat. Ask for extra tartar sauce on my fish sandwich and ended up with ketchup. Tried to call to get my order corrected and no one answers the phone even though this is a 24 hour location… Definitely not stopping by this McDonald’s ever again.

This is probably the worst McDonalds I’ve ever been too. Even compared to the one downtown on A street. I walked around after I ate my food because I noticed my table was filthy and it took me a few minutes to find one that I can actually sit at. After I ate I walked around and noticed the floors are filthy and every single table was dirty. This is supposed to be one of the nicer McDonalds. And I don’t appreciate the waterless urinals in most of the mc donalds restaurants. Kind of makes it seem dirty and stinky and I don’t like it. Your making more than a million a day around the country you can have some flushing toilets. It’s just strange and it doesn’t work the way its supposed to, just a dirty idea. I’m definitely going to try to avoid this McDonalds. Whether you’re busy or not cleanliness is one of the keys to every successful business.

More like McDirty’s. Ugh. The golden arches beckoned us over from across the 5 northbound freeway as we were heading home from my brother’s wedding. I should have known that it was a bad idea to eat here when(1) we noticed there was no Value Menu available, and(2) half of the dining area was closed off by caution tape — renovations were taking place while people were eating inside! We ended up ordering and forking over more than what we’re used to paying for a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets meal and Grilled Chicken Sandwich and small drink — close to $ 20! I know it’s Del Mar, but c’mon. Tables and floors were dirty/grimy/gross. Our table had drops of blue liquid all over it. Disgusting. Employees were less than cordial. I guess I would be too if I had to work at this dump.

Bad service. Not friendly staff. Extremely slow drive thru(normally pretty fast at mcdonalds as everything is microwaved). Was thinking they might be more friendly due to the super mega rich in the town. Screwed up my order and they didn’t even apologize. I tried back two more times and the same crappy service was found again. On the plus, no food poisoning and the food tasted just like the cardboard and special sauce it always does.
