This review is long overdue! We were in San Diego this past fall and ended up planning last minute family photos with our four month old baby. I really wanted her to have a flower crown, so at the last minute I reached out to Del Mar flower company (I believe Katie helped me). She knew exactly what I wanted and was able to put together the most beautiful flower crown for the photo session at the last minute. She was so easy to work with and I would definitely go back.

Flowers were fantastic!!! Brought my mom to tears when she got to hotel room!!! Very easy to work with people!!! Fast and reliable and friendly service!!! Thanks again guys!!!

Unfortunately my flower order was the last delivery of the day. .. When I placed the order the day prior, I was surprised by the delivery fee of $ 20.00 for my location which was 2.67 miles from the flower shop. When I hesitated on my order, the gracious assistant on the phone assured me the arrangement ($ 85) would be beautiful and the delivery on time between (10am and 2pm). The delivery happened at 2:30pm and the flowers are nice and fresh, but not a large as I expected. Will not do business again.

I am writing this before I see the flowers (I am in another state) but I asked for a complicated basket with flowers, chocolate, and coffee for a very ill relative and because they are located near lots of consumer stores they were very happy to go and collect a nice assortment for my mother with cancer who needs to eat more. Spent lots of time with me on the phone and they were very excited to put it all together. It was exactly the kind of shop I was hoping for! When my relative gets the flowers I will add on how it all turned out. But the customer service is OUTSTANDING and their empathy was great. I spoke with Samantha.

I was in a pinch for a wedding bouquet that I needed to get made over the weekend and be ready by Monday and Del Mar Flower Co did a perfect job with only an over the phone description! I will definitely come here again if I ever need flowers for any occasion!

Picked up a gorgeous dozen roses for my wife yesterday, super friendly and the flowers were fresh and beautiful. Definitely found my local spot for all my floral needs.

Wow. I couldn’t have been happier with the day. As soon as I get pictures from my photographer, I will be posting them here and on their facebook page. EVERYTHING came out better than expected. In fact, they came out exactly like the pictures I shared with them (I told them — I want this feel/​look but not the price). Imagine my surprise when they looked exactly like what I showed them!
They delivered to my hotel then went to the venue to set up. I WISH I actually had time to look around during the day but you know how wedding days are… The pictures I did see look fabulous! They also surprise me with some extra flowers along the aisle which I didn’t order.
Since I wasn’t going with abundance for the ceremony, they knew to go with bright colors to make more of an impact — and they sure did!
Also, since my wedding was 2 days after V-​Day, they were VERY VERY busy. But they were still very helpful with a few last minute changes I needed to make.
Best Ever! Wish I could have another wedding just to do it all over again!

love the arrangements at this place… and their customer service is the BEST… the lady (Sonya?) is so pleasant to deal with and her creations are gorgeous! I’ve ordered from them for years… beautiful, reasonable and reliable every time… HIGHLY recommend :)

My friend’s family was nice enough to have me over to their Thanksgiving so I stopped by here to pick up a bouquet for his mother.
The flowers were nice enough, but not really as large as I expected from a $ 40 price point. She was really happy with them but I probably could have gotten the same reaction from a lower minimum cost.
It’s biggest plus is the convenient location. When heading to any of the downtown Del Mar restaurants it’s easy to stop by here for a quick friendly gesture to score some points. Next time I’ll probably plan a little further ahead to save some dough but it’s good to know they’re here if I’m in a pinch.

I bought flowers from Del Mar Flower company today. A girl with glassses named Natasha was extremely helpful, and not only seemed to know flowers, but made thoughtful suggestions to help me get an amazing flower arrangement. My girlfriend thought that they were some of the prettiest flowers I had ever given her, and she gets quite a few flowers. Check it out, don’t forget to TIP!!! for good service!
